You mean the composite armor than has a worse rating than rubber lol
So, if we’re talking about balance, NATO tanks should be buffed, because NATO doesn’t have CAS aircraft, helicopters, or SPAA that are as strong as the Soviet ones.
A preferable option would just be to nerf Russian AA and fixed wing CAS.
Yes it does.
Every single one of our top dudes are on chinas pay role.
And it goes down into the municiple level. It’s THAT bad.
So it is entirely plausible that some dude in our gov leaked abrams stuff and it was forwarded to gaijin because we’ve covered there’s an intel gathering branch.
Also, could’ve been fake docs because govs around the world do that all the time too.
If they leaked the documents, then the Abrams’ hull must have significantly reinforced armor.
If they leaked it, it might be a fake doc bro. As in, they leaked fake info since they know that russia is fishing for it.
It would be better to take the data on the Abrams armor from a Polish website.
I dont disagree with that.
I’d like to know if Gaijin understands that the Abrams’ protection wasn’t improved solely by increasing its weight. The hull armor was also upgraded with newer generations of composite armor.
Armor materials and alloys evolved over the years and are not the same as those used in the 1970s.
Worse gun, no lws? Its worse for a minor weight change that barely helps in accel
its almost like its in a different teck tree with a MM that puts it on Russian teams more often shocking what not getting spammed by Russian cas can do for your K.D
Correct me if im wrong, but the title is and i quote… “Regarding the hull Armor of the M1A2 SEP V3” now either, thats a funny way to spell challenger, or leopard OR MAYBE JUST MAYBE, let me think. Here im gonna google SEP V3 and see what comes up…
OH YEA… the Abrams, so the way i see it is those to tanks have no correlation to the discussion at hand.

Kills don’t capture points.
At least it has turret chicks armor, try Japan and you will understand the meaning of pepper armor lol these guys literally play with 1hp.
I don’t understand the point of this. Russia has everything better than the US. JAGMs aren’t a reliable kill even when firing 4 on one target. The US also lacks an equal aircraft to Russia.
My Abrams also has a 2KD with a 60% winrate, but we’re talking averages here. Russia’s T-80BVM and T-90M have an average 5-10% winrate over US and German vehicles.
The Abrams is a vehicle designed for this combat. Like the Leopard, you can shoot anywhere on the lower hull, and it will die easily. It is best used as a hull-down vehicle. Rushing with it is a dumb idea and why Click-Baits have such low KDs.
Yet the Abrams is incredible up close too.
Meanwhile tanks like the T-90M are just dead as soon as you get too close to a decent player. The T-90M is just lucky that most players aren’t very good.
My point is that Russian winrates are mostly carried by their CAS/AA combo.
Assuming the enemy gets unlucky and hits the autoricochet, yes, but I’d rather not put myself in a brawl with a T-90M or BVM.
Agreeable. The T-90M isn’t particularly good.
Kinda. Having a good MBT also helps a lot. The Abrams isn’t “bad”, but the BVM’s good aspects make it good at the design of WarThunder.
…and china most often pairs with russia in games.
Not really. A large part, I would even say the majority, of my games in the M1A2T were against Russia.
Due to everyone and their mother trying to queue with Russia there really isn’t a clear pattern anymore.
Oh I don’t think the BVM is bad. Imo the Abrams just scales much better with skill while the BVM is just kind of hard capped in that regard.
The whole skill floor vs skill ceiling argument.
Why is this such a common misconception? Cause their flags look similar? Because it’s just not true
