How on earth did all this get reduced to weight? Composite armor doesn’t weigh the same as steel—often significantly less. New versions show significant resistance to KE compared to “steel.” By the way, could you explain where the idea for the KE buff to RELICT came from? Where is the information about such high KE resistance available?
Furthermore, the developers didn’t see a problem with adding the 38MT, which was never mounted on the aircraft, and the manufacturer removed it from the brochure because it doesn’t physically exist—it’s just marketing. But, of course, marketing brochures won’t work in NATO equipment. There’s a Russian bias in this game, and it’s massive, but you’re trying to pull the wool over the community’s eyes.

Seriously, this happened to me twice in the same match. After that, I didn’t play Challenger 2 anymore. If only we could at least remove that urban combat kit. The tank isn’t bad, it just needs better modeling, but IT’S SO SLOW, MY GOD.
Lets talk CR2 reasons to be a top tier tank…
It’s slow, has weak firepower compared to every other nation
4 rounds at 4.5 seconds and then a 6 second reload
Horrendous damage model
Mobility
Armour, so many holes and weak spots no trunnion block, ineffective composite arrays
Can be killed by anything.
BN has a great APS system.
Take away L27A1 and all of them could be the same BR as the CR1

Def not a weak firepower, is 1 shot the most tanks, only T90M Leopards and Strvs is more than one, but is bad modeling and trash engine is bad, is fat like winston churchill, lower plate and driver’s hatch will be alaways a weak spot
An increase of weight doesnt necessarily mean more armor. The military over the years was using and experimenting with different composites. Each more effective at protection than the next with very little weight difference seen.
I think you should focus on telling these people not to talk about their Russian bias conspiracies here, rather than trying to disprove them

Does gaijin think the only way to make the armor better is by stacking more armour rather than refining the composite itself?/NEA (Next Generation Armor)?

Relikt got buff. 38MT doesent exist - no nato counterpart btw in game. And the best part, T series tanks are the only ones that have such small weakspots

Also the T-80BVM has pretty sizable weakspots.

Where did I lie? The T-80BVM/T-90M have the smallest weakspots in the game. Right behind them is the Leopard 2A7, which lacks a good frontal plate.

Okay but he’s right? On an objective scale they have the smallest weakspots.
At least I can pop a 2A7’s mantlet and usually kill the entire crew without worrying about a trunnion vaporising my dart.

T-90M has smallish weakspots, yes. T-80BVM has an incredibly easy to disable turret.
