Reduce tradable coupon requirement!

f-111 or any phantom.

Just bombing? Nice

I deleted my prior reply, since I was recalling wrong!

I made a progress update on the event before giving it up. Here it is:

yes, bases.

Make them easier to get the they will sell for far less as the product becomes less rare. Good for buyers of event vehicles but bad for those that did all the work grinding it.

Yeah.

I have been miscalculating lately, so I have to clarify my new position;

I still voted “yes”, though. No harm could be done for lowering the coupon requirements by 50,000 score points, or something.

Thats supply vs demand… this is what happens when you introduce copy paste vehicles or lackluster vehicles that people dont want to use or grind.

Ironic that the most popular event vehicles are the ones that sold initially at high prices, but last I checked the score still works out to be roughly the same so these events are not really “any harder”

360k score (no coupon) over 8 stages (16 days) = 22.5k score per day
750k score (coupon) which is in paralle over (16 days if we assume equal grind along side non coupon which you need unlocked anyway) = 46.8k per day

Prior star events:
400k for 10 stages (coupon) = 20k per day

While yes on paper the prior events are easier, thats only in a 1:1 vehicle comparison assuming coupon to coupon. but if we compare event to event, prior events you also had a naval + aircraft so the score for many actually ended up being 40k per day because many would go for both vehicles which often than not diluted the markets in rarity and made such vehicles basically worthless for the masses.

But what I feel many ignore with these new events and why they are arguably better is, the only difference is the coupon portion its self is harder to obtain, the actual vehicle is not, but that is not the fun part. The fun part is with prior events when you had naval/aircraft/tanks all available it meant every mode during the event was basically filled with lets just say not good players or you saw the sweats come out (you know what and who i mean)

Just like with the 292 event, forgetting coupon pricing. the actual grind for the event was better, I wasnt getting slammed to do 2 modes in 2 days (so basically 1 mode per day for a distinction in each vehicle type) I often went for both if i could be bothered.

This meant burnout was a real problem yet with the 292 (which I got and sold) was so much better partly because of lack of burnout with not needing to go into other modes BUT the 750k score was in parallel. I mention this bit (which many of you seem to ignore) is that 750k score can be acrude AT ANY point, your not bound by a 2 day timer like the stages so you can actually if you knew you had time spare later in the day just focus on stages first and come back later and burst grind the 750k score (which I did)

So yes while these events from a number perspective are harder this event simply gives the player more options with less restrictions and less bs in lobbies because everyone “was” grinding every mode for any one of the 3 vehicles with prior events

What people need to understand is, you cannot have your cake and eat it. if gaijin lowered these events to be easier then your coupons simply wont be worth as much (even if they went for unique ones) why because every player and there mothers would be grinding for it on a quick sale on the market.

So if you want valuable coupons then they simply have to be harder to obtain otherwise players will have to many being sold on the market and everyone then undercuts the lowest seller and the price drops (markets, you either love em or you hate em)

Why do you think gaijin went for a 750k score for the coupon but kept the non coupon basically same score as prior events… its because they knew not many obtained 2 or more vehicles from those prior events, this was arguably the best middle ground in terms of players can still get a vehicle for free with little effort and if they want to be rewarded can go further and get the coupon

No, it should be harder, then we can get a better price, I don’t want have a $40 coupon after working for 28 hours

Except if it got even harder, it wouldn’t be $40 for 28 hours; but $50 for 40 hours xD

And people would unironically still grind it to sell instead of getting a part time job.

That’s not how you synthesize artificial scarcity for suffer and profit.

Yep. There’s no remotely realistic level you could lower it to that would be better than simply buying the stars.

If you’re grinding to get a vehicle for yourself, a discussion can be had about the value of one’s time. But if you’re grinding to get nothing but a coupon to sell, then you’ve made the game into a job and it can only be measured in time-vs-monetary-value.

And the result is always terrible.

Just to expand on your thought, arguing for lower required score to sell is effectively the same as wanting your average pay to be lowered, since easier to get the tradable coupon means more people will want to sell, driving the price further down.

Its baffling, really.

Low tradeable coupon score = low marketplace prices. Why would you even bother with a low score tradeable coupon if it’s gonna end up like 5GJN on the marketplace?

Lower score for those who want to keep the vehicle = yes.
Lower score for those who want to sell the vehicle = no.
If anything, coupon score has to go up by like 20 %. At least for planes.

One thing I have to add, my biggest gripe with these events is that vehicles are no longer premium AND you have to spade them. There used to be a time when these vehicles came with premium bonuses. The least Gaijin could do is give us these vehicles SPADED. No worse feeling than grining 20 days straight for something, you then have to spade another 20 days, just to be able to finally enjoy it.

Actually it’s not really that effective to use FFAR as it was before. I found I can get about as much score per minute with, say F-5E or F-8E flying around killing people, as rocketing airfields with Ardvark or Phantom. Yesterday I played 2 games of Zhengzhou. First game 7500 rocketing AF with Ardvark (granted some Su-7 prick with an open cockpit was camping our airfields somehow immune to AAA) and the game after got 12k points with F-8E dogfighting, shooting down AI planes and capping zones.

Trading vouchers for aircraft activity are simpler,But it takes a little time, and the operation is boring, like an assembly line worker

You think it’s bad for y’all on PC? The coupon is only worth 1600 War Bond and other than that useless if you play on console only because the war bond shop always has straight garbage.

I agree! That’s why I will still grind the ground vehicle events; because, to me, it just involves playing a bit more than I usually do, while air/naval coupons really felt like a chore to me.

Naval only because of its terrible state though; like shelling an enemy ship for 10 minutes and killing 90% of its crew only for them to die and you don’t even get a kill assist because it’s bugged and this isn’t even acknowledged as a bug, so those 10 minutes only gave you 233 score points, etc.

Here’s the thing, Navy is really bad, and there are fewer people to play, long matching time, no efficiency, even I use the OP Atlanta is difficult to guarantee efficiency, the last two Navy activities I did not participate in, do not want to experience the feeling of jail

TO SELL, I am only talking about to sell here. So 41.6k per day for 18 days on the F-14. Keeping it is only 360k score, selling it is 750k.

It should be 495k, not 750k. 700k is way too much still IMO. 495k would be like grinding 11 stages instead of 9
