That’s a ordinance issue, not a aircraft issue, I think napalm shouldn’t be able to do what they do to bases anyway, Gaijin needs to nerf them across the board.
That’s what I want them to do as well. I think we got on to a wrong topic. I just think that napalm is too powerful which you seem to agree with.
Well thanks for the discussion guys. I hope my rant would be seen by gaijin but probably not lol.
rant seen by gaijin? never
sekret papers? yes(dont do it)
You might tempt me
lol
If anything, more fighters should be able to carry incendiaries. If it could in real life, it should also do in the game.
What you need is better map design and objectives in RB, not removal of ordnance or arbitrary nerfs to damage.
Not a pound for air to ground
The F-111F is faster than a Mig-23ML, carries 2 more IR missiles, and performs equally bricky.
Do we nerf the F-111F as well? Oh wait, it doesn’t have napalm to begin with and is still faster than a Mig-23ML at the same BR…
Ohhhh so, MiG-23ML+Napalm combo is nothing wrong because there is a single surviving strike aircraft from napalming fighter’s tyranny?
While other strike aircraft are remaining worthless and inferior?
Really.
Do you really believe that MiG-23ML is not wrong, and every other strike aircrafts can remain junk because F-111F can stand against MiG-23ML.
Sometimes, your claim sounds really clueless.
if we exclude MiG-23ML for arguing’s sake.
We can look and compare Tornado GR.4 and MiG-21Bison.
Generally, Strike aircraft are overrated than their fighter counterparts because of a worthless payload which can impact not a single f-ing thing in a match.
Don’t ever try to bring a ‘killing ground impacts ticket’ theory.
Everyone knows that almost all of the top-ranked ARB matches end with TDM elimination.
Even though I disagree with OP’s ‘removing napalm from fighter’ solution, the current situation of napalm meta is insane.
I just wonder how the f- Gaijin decided to let MiG-23ML stay 11.7 even though they act good in both A2A/A2G in ARB.
While they rejected buffing Tornado IDS because they were acting too good in A2G (Which is doomed now thanks to napalm meta) at same friggin time.
I do agree that what I said about removing was a bit short sighted, but I do also think that some vehicles are a little too good to be at certain br’s. Especially if they are able to carry napalm to take a base and then go and kill multiple targets with their multiple missiles.
So do we just add more bases to maps and then reduce their individual earnings that way or what would you like to be added?
Yeah radar seems currently bugged so
Alright, I can finally reply.
I’ve said many times that all Tornado IDSs should be 11.3 in the current BR range.
Strike aircraft are not exclusively base bombing aircraft.
Let’s have some data:
Strike mission: 25107 RP over 20 minutes. [It says 23 cause I waited to end the match for a team mate to attempt to secure a frag.]
Bomb mission [Bmb]: 16,872 RP over 12 minutes. 2 bases bombed.
Bomb mission [Nplm]: 11,822 RP over 13 minutes. 2 bases bombed.
Napalm doesn’t frag ground units, only bases, which makes them more restrictive.
Striking targets is clearly more profitable for strike aircraft with the munitions count than napalming, and is slightly worse than using standard bombs.
Loadouts for transparency, yes I used the highest Reward multiplier for bases loadouts.
A Mig-23ML, F-111F, F-15E, Su-27SM, etc may get to a base before you; however, if you have standard bombs you are far more versatile than base bombing, which itself isn’t the greatest thing.
On the Mig-21Bis note: Vehicles as fast or faster than a Mig-21Bis with napalm equipped:
F-104S, Kfir Canard, Mig-27K?, F-111C.
I haven’t tested every aircraft with 1 base of bombs/nplm yet.
That leaves Mig-23ML and F-111F, which are the twin base racers at 11.7.
It’s not that they need to be moved up, cause neither are 12.0 capable. Every 12.0 is a better aircraft than they are.
Some strike aircraft should move down. Su-17M2 moved back down to 10.0 after enough players played it and gave feedback that it was bad at higher BRs, and it was; It’s an afterburning Yak-38 that can bomb bases at the same time, and go mach ~1.8 with only AAMs attached.
Obviously we can’t have the Tornado platforms ruining flareless vehicles again like they did in the past which is why I suggest 11.3.
Earnings are fine, napalm already has reduced earnings.
btv why mods close these topics are they against rules?
and it is super frustrating when these premium MIG:s steal bases and not respect when you mark an base on map.
No
Better solution is so the bases will have faster reapawn lik 30 sec
Maybe not 30 seconds but its way too long now
Easy, nerf the RP and SL if you bomb bases with a interceptor
