The RDF/LT and HSTV-L have inflated Battle Ratings. In every match, they face 21st-century tanks—vehicles equipped with spall liners and armor that the RDF/LT and HSTV-L simply cannot penetrate (such as the Strv 122B+, the BMPT with its 300mm-armored weak spots, the T-90M, and the T-80BVM).
Furthermore, in Simulator Battles, the RDF/LT should be in the same bracket as the HSTV-L, given that it is only nine years older. Why is a tank from 1980 forced to fight against LMUR missiles introduced in 2021, or modern vehicles like the T-90M (2021) and the T-90M “Arena” (2025)? The RDF/LT and HSTV-L would only be viable at a BR of around 11.0–11.3, not 12.0. Additionally, the RDF/LT is completely ineffective in Simulator Battles.
Tell me you don’t know how to play your tank without telling me type post
Also HSTVL slander in 2026 goes crazy step off
“21st century tanks” when all of the top tier MBTs are 1980s platforms lol
BR is not determined by year of introduction, its determined by how well a vehicle performs on average (TLDR: Score per spawn) among a few other things.
Edit:
In this post they describe how BR is determined in general: ( Responding To Your Feedback On Separate Battle Ratings )
I mean with the Relikt buff the current shell is really underpowered for side shots, and optics aren’t good enough for reliable pinpoint weakspot shooting. I hope they give it the DU round that i saw passed in a bug report
the relikt change only changed how relikt performs when angled, not on flat shots
And most side shot opportunities you get aren’t flat on…
then shoot under ERA
