RCS not being modeled for ordinance is a HUGE issue

They are everywhere, well maybe not where youre looking at but certainly where you definitely dont want them to be at. Now, gl in your next 8.3 match playing a nation with not so well side armored tanks (so not russia)^^

What are you even talking about? you don’t know me. I complained plenty about the Kh-38 before SAMs were added, about 45 mm APHE at low tier, and also back when Mavericks were overpowered. I am not a “CAS main,” whatever that is supposed to mean. I am simply pointing out unbalanced and unrealistic mechanics. Also “getting what i deserve”?? what is wrong with people here? this isnt politics, im discussing a video game lmao

Taking a break at the moment. I was thinking about coming back after the update, but seeing hand gestures I’m not coming back until I get burnt out from HLL Vietnam. So maybe mid August. As of right now, I screw around on this account while my brother and the missus also play when I’m at work.

Nah. You need about 3 more deaths than kills/caps to run out of sp. if you look at most teams in those long games>1/2 of the leavers would have sp left, but they didn’t respawn. Steamrolls you may be right, but that isn’t your argument. A bunch of BRs are now comprised of premium lists giving you a pool of players with only 2-3 vehicles max. A bunch of nations have map-specific tanks (you aren’t bringing a strv103 into a city and brits are awful in city fighting. russia wants cities at most brs). Many people aren’t brining planes because they haven’t researched both ground and air for that nation, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have the SP for it. You also have the people at the top with thousands of sp extra but understand that ground forces are won on the ground and the capability of planes to find ground units diminishes as the fight continues (and the capability for multi-kills in choke points). That doesn’t change that planes require little skill to get 1-2 kills while AA take a LOT of skill for even a single kill without dying. The numbers 1v1 aren’t bad, but the instant you hit multiple planes vs multiple AA, those AA firing at any plane will give the others free reign to strafe and bomb them. Planes can hide, AA give themselves away to the entire sky when firing at any target. And lets not pretend these maps are anything except postage stamps where finding vehicles is rather trivial.

Depends a lot on whether youre up or downtiered. Every additional spawn gets more and more expensive.
And yeah i agree, in quite some matches it probably isnt the game deciding factor how big the SP pool of one team is. But 4 or 5 players or the majority of the team spawning in cas after their first death is a recipe for disaster if the enemy team has one or two good spaa players, even worse if they are already in spaa, moved from spawn and are in a good position.

Depends on the BR but yeah, with some planes you can just dive in, with very low chances to die in your first run, on a lot of the lower BR ones youd need to airbrake or idle bc most of these compress very badly leaving you at a very bad energy state even after just one run, even more so if you inevitably turn for the next run. Losing speed= easier to get hit by spaa, easier to get killed by fighters and with the latest nerfs to bombs killing stuff with anything smaller than 500 kg is (Fortunately) no as easy anymore. Hell, even the 3000 kg bomb of the IL28 that somehow never lands where the bombsight is feels like it needs to land basically next to the target to get a kill. That is-if you can find a target before getting intercepted, the target doesnt move, the bomb actually decides it goes somewhat near to where bombsight points…All other cases are: - 700 sp, meme bomb dropped, back to rearm for 10 minutes.

Similarly in lots of BRs theres very little skill attached to playing spaa besides engage at the right moment and move to a good position -if possible- before doing so. Lock with right mode, launch (with osa and rolands from radar menu) and hope he cant evade. At those BRs it feels like, especially considering the risk of wasting all that time and all those sp, playing cas takes way more skill than jsut sitting next to a building and staring at the radar menu. Thats different for almost all BRs and depending on vehicles ofc, but i dont think that its possible to generallize it like that.

Yeah thats a massive problem i think i already said that. IMO this could or should be toned down a lot by not giving markers/scouts/chevrons for planes, more cover/vegetation on the maps and whatnot. But it feels like that whole thing just goes in line with gaijins goal to turn the game into 30 sec attention spam 5 minute matches. Dive in with 3 min on the match timer and push enemy team out of the match bc if you wait youre wasting time and the snowball might roll the other direction.
