I’ve been trying to use the RB 74Ms while test driving the JAS 39D, but they won’t lock onto anything,. Not the MiGs, not the sun. Is anybody else getting this issue?

and the migs are mig15s so are pretty cold, how close are you trying to lock with them?
as i am having no issues

The migs run very cold, you’ll need to get within like .4km
They should be fine otherwise on actual targets since my JAS 39D and C never had any problems
they should lock at 2.2~ KM, which is still relatively close, but not at all .4
Turns out, Swedish Fox 2s don’t work against bots. Like at all. (Found this out while playing the J32B in a small air rb match that was mostly bot filled)
highly doubt it,
most bots like the A-4 or MiG-15 are just non-afterburning
RB24s are Swedish Aim-9Bs. They’ll lock anything with a heat signature.
And everything at jets has a heat signature loud enough for the missile to pick it up.
