Which is problem with the US TT
allright i went only with ground vehicels that im 99% sure are unique, starting from rank II. Im also not counting premium reskins such as Cobra King or M1128 Wolfpack as “unique vehicle”.
¨
chief i dont know but it seems youre making stuff up.
but im confident that you will find some way to cope so lets adress those points before that.
- “why do you count every variant of abrams as unique” no other TT has Abrams tanks as far as i know and they are disticnt from each other.
- “why do you count XM803 as unique” its distinct from MBT-70.
- “why do you count AIM as unique vehicle” it has unique kit in form of KEW and 2nd gen thermals.
- “why do you count ADATS as unique” the canadian ADATS is missile only.
EDIT: Guess i shouldnt count KVT either by the criteria ive set myself as it is technically only a reskin, but then again VISMOD is a unique modification.
9.0 Merkava is unique Isreal’s earliest Merkava is 9.7
youre prolly right, i wasnt sure whats the difference as im not that familiar with Merkavas nor do i have the early event ones. prolly Mk3D isnt unique either but i saw someone complaining that it isnt in israels TT.
Its got the oldest visual model, and it lacks thermals and a better round than M111, also lacks the smoke launcher seen on the turret if the 9.7 merkava MK.1B’s
The US model is the MK.1A iirc so the oldest Merkava in warthunder
The closest to the MK.3D is the Raam Segol as they are both 3D models iirc but the Segol is slightly worse and thus different and better than its Israeli counterpart
i see, thanks for explanation.
It might be armor and design last i checked between the Segol and the 3D. Its been a while since the Israeli players complained about the 3D not being on Isreal (fair argument imo, the Segol is just worse from what i remember)
The MK.1 though is kinda crazy, 9.7 merkava armor at 9.0, i play at 9.7 with the XM-803 and the A4E early cause its a fun lineup imo
point is, at least for ground, pangolin is making stuff up again. US has lot of unique vehicles not found in other TTs.
but im sure that i will be hearing something akin to “it only has different gun, ammo and armor layout so it doesnt count!”.
Went and grabbed the images they are very different modification wise and a little different look wise.
Yez. Mine. Ignored
US has a lot of unique stuff, its the nation i have with the most vehicles on. Not counting event vehicles its a pretty well rounded and unique nation.
f-5e is better at super low speed, like sub 400 kph, but who even fights at that speed range
Thing is the new one at 10.7 is the F-5A chassis which is more lightweight, while it also has the engines of the F5E essentially so its better at all speeds over all F5’s.
Also you’d be suprised how many so called F5 pilots dont know their speed rates and just attempt to fight at sub 600kph until they are down to 200kph and then cry when my F-5A(G)-40 slaps them with my colts.
Call the M4A3 76 and M41A1 unique is abit of a stretch.
Either way my point still stands. From rank 2-6, over half the tech tree (I didn’t count premiums for obvious reasons) has been given to another nation, and a decent chunk aren’t even worth using (e.g T25, M4/T26, and M6A1).
No other nation aside from maybe China and Israel, is 50% copy paste, and they’re only copy paste cause they lack other options.
I was curious, so I made the same thing for air
It got a little messy with folders where sometimes one was in other trees but not the others, but this should at least be somewhat right
no other country has 76mm jumbo as far as im aware.
now that i think about it, the JSDF M41 is probably exactly the same, so it shouldnt count.
Rank II and Rank III are vehicles that were exported en masse. Still there are few unique to the US.
However i dont understand how can you look at rank IV, V, VI and VII and say that “half of the tech tree” is copypasted.
5 vehicles in rank IV TT (counting M41A1 now) are shared as opposed to 9 unique TT vehicles.
3 vehicles in rank V TTare shared as opposed to 6 unique TT vehicles.
5 vehicles in rank VI TT are shared (and thats quite bit of a stretch depending on whenever RISE (P) counts as unique when compared to Magachs or not) as opposed to 7 unique TT vehicles.
rank VII is entirely unique, so is rank VIII.
thats not a criteria for vehicle being unique.
yeah i intentionally avoided that as im 100% certain id screw up. “oh this vehicle designation is different but its the same as US TT variant” sort of screw up.
so thank you for your work.
From what I counted, it was 22 unique to 30 copy paste from rank 2-6.
It’s actually a lil lower cuz I went by your graph, I didn’t adjust for cases like the M41A1.
If no1 uses it cause it’s useless then it’s not really even a part of the TT. Over half of the U.S vehicles that people use are in other trees.
What’s the point of different tree if it’s all copy paste?
note that i didnt actually check for most of rank II and III vehicles whenever they got counterpart in other TTs so i wouldnt count those at all and treat them separately, or do a second take and actually look them up.
that being said, with rank IV to VIII, score should be 37 unique TT vehicles to 13 shared TT vehicles. (i cant count for the love of god lmao).
so im not sure where you got the 22 unique vehicles figure from.
vehicle is still part of the TT even if no one uses it. whenever vehicle gets played or not does not substract from its uniqueness.
You can’t really complain about not having unique vehicles when you only count those that are successful enough to be exported in the first place…
