Am I correct that with the addition of Rank IX, unlocking the Eurofighter now requires researching 5 Rank VIII aircraft, each with a research cost of about 400,000 RP?
This feels like an extreme increase in grind for no apparent gameplay benefit.

It will prolly be less than 5, I wouldn’t worry about it too much at this point anyway.
