Like the F-15A, they have their full weapons capability, and MiG-29s have almost the same capability as Iraqi MiG-29s when they were fighting Americans. Like, I’m sorry I may be biased for Russia, but that sounds like a US wet dream to me.

I understand the BR reasons, but could the American F-14 and F/A-18 early folders be switched around? It makes more sense from the “technical progression” that airframe development had in real life.
Also, can we expect RP/SL cost reductions and refunds for aircraft (and their respective modules) moved from Rank 8 to Rank 7 that are already researched?

Thats is simply not true and never was. Thats part of the reason of the review bomb back then.
Gaijin almost never reduces RP cost , only increase without an proportional increase in earnings. Which leads to u play 500 games to get rank 8 and then another 500 games to get rank 9. (Fictual numbers)
And as many said already gaijin only introduce new ranks to make people pay up. There is no ingame economical reason to do ranks at all cause matchmakes only uses BR.

They have done it every single time a new top rank is introduced. Or are sabres still 300+ k RP to research?

Rank IX - OK, but what about the premium vehicles of the seventh rank that were purchased by players for ~€35-70 with the intention of researching the entire tech tree without experience penalties? Will premium vehicles of the seventh rank purchased before these changes were announced still have this option? When paying for these vehicles, there was no information that their key properties had an expiration date ;)…

They can swap it around. Put the F-14A in 12.3 and the F-18A in 12.7. I am very sure the F-18 even have an better radar then the F-14

you do realize that Rank 8 premium aircraft can research rank 9 right ? it’s always +1 rank when it comes to research
It might take longer to get to top tier now. I have a feeling when rank 9 comes, we are going to have to research at least 5 vehicles in rank 8 to access rank 9. Making you just want to buy an rank 9 aircraft which also grinds faster than a rank 8 aircraft.
I do not have such info yet, sorry.

What about them? No one forced you to buy premium vehicles with the intention of skipping the entire tech-tree. They will still be there and playable for you to use just to use them. People spending on premium vehicles should never get in the way of new ranks or BRs being added to the game.

You say that like adding new ranks isn’t purely about money and the justification to add even more expensive premiums, while making previous toptier premiums (which some haven’t been in the game longer than few months) basically worthless, so players will buy the new toys.
