Randomly plane lose control

I was playing the He-100 for chilling because tired of top tier (yeah I know I am destroy new players, shut up). After I got 4 kills back to base try to land, when I do the left and right turns trying to slow down the plane just randomly lose control and crash (it still out of stall speed). So my team lost, result is no big deal, but I just want know why this happen? (Not internet issue, did the same thing again in test fly but didn’t crash)

You say no internet issue, are you sure? Do you have ping and packetloss visible when you play? It might be packetloss

If that is not the case:

  1. What map were you flying on?
  2. Do you use TAS or IAS to determine if you are above stall speed?
  3. Do you have RALT and ALT showing separately?

Because on maps that have very high altitudes, like afghanistan, mysterious valley and the like - stall speed can be a good 10-20 km/h below what you are used to if using TAS.

Map is sicily. I don’t care the rest. At this point I know how to fly a plane. Do you know what “no internet issue” mean? And I already said I did the same thing in test fly, that didn’t happen. So stop say bunch useless words act like you know a lot. Because if you don’t know, it’s fine, no one is going to blame on you.

I’ve dealt with enough players on my own hobby-dev to never trust people saying “no internet issues” and “I tried everything.”

You ask people to describe what happened step by step without assumptions of things that were not explicitly stated. As you did not explicitly state packetloss or ping, it’s reasonable to ask for you to confirm that your report is based on the on-screen report or other impressions (e.g.: speedtest or vibes).

And this is why I asked about altitude/radar altitude, IAS/TAS and map.

The exact same pattern-landing procedure (overhead break) used with aircraft on the Afghanistan (non-default test flight map, “Mountains”) using only TAS as display causes you to stall out ~50 meters above the runway and plummet hard into breaking your gear at sink speeds well around 10 m/s. This occurs with full-real and mouse aim alike.

Do it on Denmark (default test flight map, “Western Europe”), and you land like butter.

This has been an issue for another player reporting issues landing in a certain plane and it was identified that their issue was reliance on TAS and not realizing high-alt maps have different characteristics.

Do forgive me for being rigorous and making sure all bases are covered.

I’ll ignore your attitude and try and continue providing help:

Rigour is the most important aspect of troubleshooting. No assumptions made. No handwaving:

Request 1:

What control set-up are you using?
If you are not flying with full-real controls, which of the instructor sliders are enabled?
Screenshots are ideal for sake of rigour and no assumptions, handwaving.

Request 2:

Go to https://warthunder.com/en/tournament/replay/.
Find a match where the reported issue occured
Copy its link and paste it as a response in addition to satisfying request 1.
Ideally also provide a timestamp of the occurance to minimize time wasted.

Edit:

Have an example of “No internet issues.”
Both clips are recorded from the same match mere minutes away.
Watch the bottom left corner:

I experienced no internet issues on MY END. However, when I asked in all-chat after that sudden spike ended, everyone in the lobby said the same thing happened to them, indicating the server itself or the routing to that server experienced issues.
If I did not have the bottom left corner set up as is, I’d have had no idea what happened or why because I’ve had no internet issues preceeding or following the event.

It seems that testflight doesn’t rely on network, since there’s no other players. (well, i’m not sure about this.)

I also experienced many times that gaijin server jokes on me and fiercely turns my plane, without “BAD NETWORK CONNECTION” or “SERVER blabla” red warning words.

These messages are coming on the very end. Sometimes 1% PL is enough to cause problems especially near ground.

I’m playing on EU servers only, and my ping is 30ms. But on some EU servers it’s >40ms, and it feels like i have more issues on these servers. More often PL and way more often delay.

Yeah, like in the clip I linked earlier… there’s no BAD NETWORK CONNECTION/SERVER flashing in middle of the screen.

It’s just a 30% packetloss spike that lasted like 30 seconds or so and made my plane jerk around like crazy then disappeared as if nothing happened (second clip shows stuttering, but that’s just usual sim lobby shenanigans)

Karma Issues.
