I’d actually say the biggest issue of the spice 250s is that you have to slam on the air brake to use them. In environment where speed is half of your defence, being forced down to subsonic speeds is significant. Especially for an aircraft like the Typhoon so well built for sticking at high speeds

Because it very much matters that players are grinding German tree first MORE than the British and French tree? You can’t ignore the fact that more players playing France/UK are proportionally more experienced than German/Russia/US which skews the statistics.
(This is to illustrate a point, by no means am I arguing that this is completely representative of how it is in-game on a 1:1 basis).

As you can see here, experienced major nation mains, i.e. those that grinded the US/Russia/Germany first and then started playing the British EFT/Rafale contribute to the higher statistics of minor nations since their stats essentially drown out those who would grind the UK/French tree as their first tree compared to vice versa of UK/French mains having lower statistical effects on major tech trees.
tbh i have started playing again with Rafale after leaving the stock grind and it feels the same sh*t as it was.
it’s not good anymore, it sucks a lot and it’s unable to compete in ARB, even an AMRAAM is better, and idk why or how but it looks like Gaijin has buffed them somehow cuz i’m getting hit by them more often than i already have gotten years ago.
MICA-EM has no range, can be outrunned, Rafale has low wing rip speed, RWR is annoying (impossible to read, it detects everything in all angles, it’s impossible to understand from where exactly the missile is coming from), as always NATO and their 19km HMD compared to 20km from russian jets, and 112 large-caliber chaff is just not fair when u have Typhoons and Hornets with +320 BOL chaff (which from what i have heard, aren’t effected by the usual nerf BOL CMs have, that only applies for flares).
i have already watched a tutorial/guide about how to play with it and still feel it’s absolute trash, Gaijin was asked to balance the Rafale, not RUIN it like it feels like right now when facing Su-30SM2 and Typhoon (AESA).
i might have a skill issue with it, but after watching a whole 8:48min video about how to play with it, from minute to minute, from second to second, after trying to replicate everything and not getting any result, it feels like it’s trash in the current state against way superior aircrafts.
f*ck, even AIM-120D is better than MICA-EM.
