The ZSU-37-2 has no search radar and the VEAK has lost its HE-VT shells. Both are fine now where they are.

Notice the massively lower BR fighter AND cas plane? That’s the best Italy gets for a fighter until 7.7! So you want to go ahead and tell me the Re2005 is competitive against the 8.0 jets I will likely see?

Not everyone has a fighter at the ground Br they play. For example, my highest plane in France is 6.0, but I often play 7.7 France. I have 0 way to fight against aircraft when I am playing that BR.
Cas is also unfair. A tank can’t do anything to prevent a bomb from exploding, and they often can’t do anything against planes.

Ah yes the: research an entire different line (thousands of RP) just to counter CAS because Gaijin have made most SPAA awful, with bad rewards and huge BR gaps.
Not sure that’s a solution tbh.

And the rewards are also the same, if not worse, for a plane destroying a tank but thats not an issue people consider when using planes. They do it for the kills.
The earlier you stop thinking about rewards in an spaa the better you’d be, do it for the kills and satisfaction of protecting your team.

Technically correct, but the combined radar literally functions as a search radar. There’s quite a few single radar SPAAs and they are found at much higher BRs such as 8.7 and even 9.3. Also has 80mm+ pen AP rounds
As a result I see more VEAKs than ever, the damn vehicle seems to have only gained popularity. VEAK didn’t magically turn useless because it lost the shell it should have never had, now it just works like most vehicles of it’s kind and needs to hit to cut a plane in half. Also still has 90mm+ pen AP rounds, making it about as good as some APDS autocannons

Most SPAA are rather bad at their jobs, beside a select few?
It means that grinding out SPAA is tedious and lengthy, with the time taken to unlock modules unnecessarily long compared to normal ground units. And, unlike planes, there’s no other mode to take your SPAA to grind out modules. Planes have their own mode with considerably higher RP rewards for grinding modules and vehicles, this option does not exist for SPAA.
I play plenty of SPAA, and nothing brings me more joy than thinning the hordes of CAS pigs infesting the game, however, that doesn’t mean it’s actually good.
So how many SPAA with HEVT? How many SPAA don’t have radar or just a fire control radar at same BR or higher BR?
That’s the only reason for those who complain CAS dominant the world, even after the BR change, they still complain this
So when you have the chance to get better fighter to against the CAS, you just refuse that? how about CAS player? most of them only know Kamikaze, and that’s why CAS K/D now never over 2, those who only have low-tier CAS ( like so many german players still love use Stuka or HE111) have no way to against high tier SPAA
Who says I do? I use the P-51H and some Bf-109s as CAP planes quite often. I was giving an example of a situation where a player can do nothing against CAS. I am also playing the French air tree in order to get to a higher BR, but I can’t do that quickly.

What is reliable, R u you looking for a space with least weapon? once respawn the SPAA, anything in the sky must be down?
you know some of spaa at low BR is after WWII, like those 20mm or 23mm spaa, very dangrous\
hard to use? may I say CAS is hard to use? especially for rockets and little bombs

Getting higher BR planes is much more easier than ground, just drop bombs in ARB, 2 days or three days, and you can reach to Tier 5/6
Sometimes you are forced to uptier SPAA. A 4.3 SPAA at 6.7 would not be effective, same with a 5.7 one at 7.7.
CAS is ridiculously easy to use. SPAA requires skill, cas requires basic knowledge on how bombs work.
For how powerful it is, CAS is too cheap. The sp cost for guided and unguided anti tank munitions should be increased.
But I want to actually play the game, not bomb bases for hours.
