Thats just fantasies. Reality is that 12.7 br is filled with IRCCM fox-2s. Currently MiG-29 has nothing going for it to justify 13.0
6x R-73s, which most 13.0s are stuck with equivalents to.
French F-16 has 6 9Ms at 12.7 with better flight model and avionics.

As both a mig user as well as an F-15 enjoyer, i can definitely say that Aim-9Ms are more consistent at hetting kills than the R-73 even though you have HMS on the Mig-29. Especially when most planes at that br have a decent amount of countermeasures and can spam flares.

And Kfir C10 is 13.0 with inferior weapons, but good radar.

Mig-29 with R-73s is equal to or better than 12 13.0s in the game.
That also means F-16 is equal to or better than 12 13.0s in the game.
F-15A is superior to 12 13.0s in the game.
So unless you’re claiming those 12 13.0s should be 12.7 instead, moving 5? 12.7s back up makes more sense.
Quite few have pointed out here on forums that last major (or one prior) somehow messed up gatewidth IRCCM (missiles like R-73 and Magic 2 which rely on that type of IRCCM)

Since when Derby is inferior to R-73? It’s like 3rd or 4th best Fox-3 nowadays, right after R-77s ans PL-12

Not sure why you’re arguing Derby is inferior to R-73.
Derby is a Fox-3, they’re different missile types sir.
Even magic 2s are more consistent in my opinion because they can get to the target faster.

You literally brought Kfir C.10 at 13.0 that is armed with Derbys against MiG-29 armed with R-73s and said that it has inferior weapons

Honestly, my take is that early 29s can go to 12.3, given that 27ER/27ET are removed
EDIT: Would give Hornet a worthy opponent at 12.3

Only 29G and SMT have ET. Other than that - if we have hornets at 12.3 I see no reason why we can’t have MiG-29 there as well

Mig-29 has more missiles than just R-73s.
Mig-29 is a BVR-WVR fighter.
Kfir is a BVR only fighter, and not the best one at 13.0.
Different roles.
We can argue about R-27ER vs Fox-3s another time, but the WVR capability of Mig-29 is still notably superior to at least 5 of the 13.0s, potentially 7. While having a missile people argue is vastly more superior to AIM-7F than AIM-7F is to AIM-7E-2.
I see GitGood’s real goal is to push for Russian bias.
Giving up and accepting it as a “fantasy” is one way to ensure proper decompression never happens. I will keep complaining until they do it.

Because that’s the best missile of Kfir C.10, we are comparing top loadouts innit? One has 4x Derbys, other has 2xR-27ERs in BVR. In WVR one has 4x Derbys, other has 4x R-73s.
Missile is useless without good radar to guide it. And MiG-29 doesn’t have a good radar. Notching N019 and turning R-27ER into 250 kilos of dead weight is extremely easy

R-27ERs should be reserved for the 9.13 and 29G to be honest.
A nice clean break between 9.12s, intermediate, and R-77 Mig-29s.
12.3, 13.0, 13.3 [or 13.7 with 0.7 BR of decompression].
