How come that the mig29 (9-12a) still hasnt received its historical loudout? or even an ungimped radar and flight model?

The Russian one receiving them in the next update, but gaijin quite stupidly kept the R-27ERs and moved it to 13.0 (despite it being on par with the 12.7 F-15As).
They should all be 12.7 with R-73s/R-27Rs IMO.

Isn’t the russian one Mig-29 (9-13)? That the one that receiving the R-73 and Gaijin are adding another Mig-29 (9-12) and only with R-60M for russia.

An r73 with HMS is not at the same level of a aim-9m, it should go up to 13.0

That’s a decompression issue but a plane with r73 and hms should not stay at 12.7
F-15A should not stay at 12.7 but here we are regardless. MiG-29 deserves to be at 12.7 as well.

I agree, the f15 should go to 13.0 to but then you should up the br of the su27/su33 and then everything else.
It’s good that the mig 29 goes to 13.0 the problem is decompression.
In what world Su-33 and Su-27 deserve to be more than 13.0?
In the one where the f15 goes to 13.0 where it belongs

The issue here is gaijin doesn’t want to decompress and giving r-73 to the mig while rasing its br won’t make it more enjoyable, it will struggle the same is doing right now

Ok, let’s stop talk about pure fantasy and fan fiction. Matter of fact that F-15A/J/Baz is at 12.7 and Su-27 is at 13.0. MiG-29 even with R-73s is not comparable in capabilities to Su-27 so it can’t realistically be at the same br. It also arguably weaker than F-15A outside of very specific close range situations where R-73 might help it. MiG-29 with R-60s is not even comparable to F-15A but for some reason is at the same br.

R-73 + HMS is balanced out by the fact that it has a worse FM and airframe that its competition at 12.7

With gaijin coding HMS is actually a nerf to R-73. Just a flatspin city.
MiG-21Bison gets HMS, R-73 and 27R and is 12.3, there is no reason the 29 couldn’t be 12.7 with the same config
