yes, it would likely be placed at 12.0, but it would be able to perform just fine at that BR.

I think the big reason that make the Yak unpopular, is that it’s after the Yak-38M, and that branch has been a dead-end for a while now.
It was a nice alternative to the MiG-29 before the SMT and Su-27 made their way to the game, but now it’s kind off lost the edge in radar performance, and weapon quality. Between being a dead-end, and now offering little more than quirks in the face of actual performance, it did fall off.
R-73s would somewhat upgrade it, but since it’s already a pretty theoretical plane, I’d rather see them on a second one with some upgraded equipment and armament in order to fill out the branch before it goes mad and we get naval MiGs and whatnot down there
