The discussion isn’t for the 15I getting pythons… so not sure how that bears on the Sufa being disadvantaged at the same BR.
The 16C is one of the least powerful 13.7s in the game for the same reasons as the Sufa, so the argument is instead of just making a boring copy&paste plane that’s either entirely DOA at 14.0 or just plain forgettable at 13.7, make it a unique and viable 14.0 with Py4.
Again, like I said I’m all for the F-16I going down and getting 120Bs on top of its 120Cs. This has nothing to do with Python-4s.
Not in my experience. It’s more than comfortable at 13.7 last I played it.
Or, like the F-16C, it can receive next-gen IR missiles in the future. Like I said last night, it’s all about patience.
But python 4 is so op it will do full 360, circle the world in 3 sec and hit the pilot directly in the eye
I wouldn’t call it uncomfortable, it’s just most 13.7s are noticeably better than it. The missile count is the biggest detractor, in 16v16 you really need to be able to have some attrition. But pair that with being average at everything but not great at anything, you get underwhelming as a result.
While I agree, this is more an issue of decompression than needing a better missile. Again, give it the 120B to make it more comfortable, and move it down to 13.7 until it can get upgrades in the future.
At the very least it has similar flight performance to the F-16C Block 50, it’s just heavier in exchange for MAWS, more CMs, and a slightly slightly better radar (not really worth mentioning).
It’s just lame that they keep choosing additions for the game that are completely pointless because the game isn’t ready for its kit. If it goes to 13.7 with the same old missiles It’s just the same plane but outright worse than the 16C Barak and BR for BR way worse than the 16D.
The Sufa is the one “unique” addition to top tier for this patch (the F18s are just entirely copy paste, though with the same old missiles Sufa might as well be too), but we could have had any number of new airframes that aren’t in the game yet chosen instead to be our one plane that are supposed to use missiles that are currently in the game. Devs will do what they want I suppose…
I mean they can give the US (and only the US FWIW) the AIM-95 and put it on jets that will be shooting at things that don’t even have flares and let’s see how fast this idea disappears. All while carrying more than they would of sidewinders.
