Just gotta hope it comes christmas update IG, a little annoyed that we most likely won’t get our historically accurate period of stomping every other nation in terms of missile capability /joke

P4 rn isnt completed but the fix is easy
Ajust the weight fin aoa and the rest can be copied form the p5 since they are almost identical increase the thrust alongside the p5 would be nice too

There’s gonna be a second dev dont worry

I thought p5 had more thrust?

They use the same motor but the p4 is slower (3.5 M) because of weight and drag
The p5 is missing a bit of thrust on the booster sustainer

It should have the same thrust but lython 5 should have thrust adjusting and less drag

So your response to someone wanting a 1993 missile is to say that other nations should be getting in order; a 2005 missile, a 2003 missile, a 1998 missile and a 2012 missile. And then you go and say that it wouldn’t be fair for that same nation to receive it’s upgrade to that missile from 2003 when these other missiles are in the game.

What is your point here?

You know what, you’re right. Production year is definitely the main determiner of somethings capabilities.
On that note, since Israel is getting an aircraft from 2003 then the US should get the F-22 from 1997 at a lower BR!

If the F-16I gets its proper ECM suite sure

Seeing as how gimped the IRIS-T is on the slm I think we can agree gaijin cares not for the capabilities of a weapon system and they will modify it as they see fit

Right… so we can get the AIM-9X blk I

It’s almost like some countries (Soviet union) underwent a financial crisis in the 90s and a bunch of projects got defunded. The successor to the r-73 was supposed to be “k-300” which is basically an asraam with thrust vectoring, and the k-300m program only started back up in 2021 ish. Instead there were forced to pursue lower cost upgrades on the r-73. Israel form my understanding never went through such a financial crisis like Soviet Union/russia in recent times (roughly past 3 ish decades). That’s why r74m, a missile from the mid 2000s is on par with the python 4 from the early 90s.

Spoiler

R74m and k300

if we dont get a second devserver next week we are cooked, we are going to wait until october-november update to see if they add it i dont even want to wait until christmas and i think that am not the only one, this missile should be introduced this update under the conditions and proposals that all of us have established in this and other topics too.

this and 2 other topics talking about the same thing and same missile and If we put all the opinions together, the vast majority of all the people present in these 3 different topics came to the same conclusion.

The Air Superiority major is starting qualis tomorrow and will continue on each weekend until Oct 5th. Gaijin will most likely wait until it is over to drop the update meaning Oct 6th/7th launch.

it wont matter against ALR-94

Who would have thought

nah thats really late, we have another major update by mid november and devblogs for that update starts to roll out by late october, this update is most likely dropping next week or the next after this coming one and the air superiority major has nothing to do with the update the planes for the qualis and major are already established, leaving this aside i hope that at the very least if we dont have a second devserver gaijin surprise us with the missile in the same day that the update drops that would be incredible good for all of us honestly.

Sometimes I think it would be better if they added the P5 and I-Derby-ER for Israeli aircraft first, but I’m sure we can all agree that Gaijin should keep its successful “historical” way of including weapons.

That is what they did last year which is why I expect them to do the same this year
