F-16i is a single engine jet with pretty good CM dispensers position. It doesnt have any problems flaring missiles like F-14 or F-4. Having 45 more CMs will help alot preflaring irsi-t’s and like. Are you sure you guys want to keep those 195 CMs with some of them being large caliber ones instead of 240 regular ones?
Which one do you guys want?

Because thrust is not static thing and values in statcard are useless. There is perfomance graphs for pw229 equipped export F-16 avaliable in internet. IDK if they restricted. But if not, they can be used to tune flight performance if you think that it’s wrong.
Add abilitiy to choose dispensers type in loadout menu allowing any combinations

It should at least get Python-4 for close range self defence.
Aim120’s can be easily evade with notching and multipathing, with Python-4 it can defend itself against superior airframes at close range.

I couldnt reply in time to you in the bug report, but my hope was that they would at least look at the figures and implement a middle ground, rather than go with the static thrust.
I was also able to find a few of the docs you were referring to but all of them were export restricted unfortunately.

I’m curious how potent the Spice 250s will be with the new AA systems this update. Can’t launch them over mach 1, but also can’t fly to high with the BUK or SAMP around.
Compare to Hammers and KH38MT’s its pretty shit, its on the same level as Ir guided GBU’s but instead you can spam it.

Ingame thrust is not static. It changes with height and velocity.
Statcard shows thrust with h=0 v=0
Brochures show only static thrust of engine on test stand
45 large caliber chaff + rest being flares is all you need to be honest.
Yeah, your point absolutely makes sense. I just want to try to get the best and most optimised sufa version while we actually can report things.
Btw, do you have any sources proving large caliber CMs are more effective or you just feeling this way, based on your experience? If its actually two times effective of a regular ones, thats a good alternative
IRRC datamines proves that Large caliber has double amount of effectivenes that normal Cm has.
well, according to poll, people prefer current layout of CMs or just not that interested in it. I guess its better to leave things as it is right now in order to not ruin fun for other people whos waiting for sufa(
