Put the F-2A ADTW at 12.7 or keep it at 13.0 and give AIM-7P's

Not even mockups of the AAM-4 were ever put on the outer pylons. Just the wooden sparrow mockups from its first unveiling.

And yeah F-2 HMD theory is in a pretty dead state currently, even most of the evidence we did have has been disproven.

What about the Shidmazu one? Wasn’t that made but not fitted to any aircraft?

Recent evidence has made it appear far more likely that was for the F-15 then for the F-2.

Well, I still have some hope that if Japan decides to take up Northrop’s offer to upgrade their F-2s that HMD will come with.
