F-2
I do too. But it would at least stop all the threads like this one lmao.
They’d still be complaining, but this time regarding the AAM-4B and AAM-5
Both identification are partially correct in this case.
Viggen’s radar shares the some of the same technical capabilities of first Gen F-16’s radar.
Same goes for F-18/20 in this case which is why both planes identifies on RWR as F-16/18.
F-2 is fun despite its drawbacks.
The only thing I don’t like about this plane is the high speed compression, in real life it should be able to pull 12G’s during those speeds and there is a report iirc but Gaijin didn’t take any action so far.
that would definitely be a nice buff
true…
People should stop complaining about armaments and HMD because:
-armament is just a matter of balance and HMD was never even tested on F-2 in the first place.
Now us offered MLU package for F-2 which includes new radar, electronics, engine and possible HMD in this case.
If MLU comes to life then it could be a worthy of top tier.
Su-35 will be just canardless Su-30SM2 in terms Wt gameplay in my book.
I’m pretty sure SM2 will also recieve R-37/77M once those missiles added to the game.
So only benefit Su-35 will bring will be the MAW system I believe.
Perfect demo of the awareness AESA gives you as well as sparrow relocking.
I have insane awareness and since this is a Fox-1 I can just relock it and keep the pressure on him
Su-35S has less CMs, no airbrake, MAWS, and it’s less draggy.
SM2 can get R-37M but not R-77M.
Good taste of music but Gripen pilot chose one of the worst move he could do.
He could’ve just lock on to you with HMD and fire Fox-3 at you (judging the camo it was SA Gripen which carries Derby missiles, those are really deadly in close range) and go back to notch properly.
In these scenarios F-2 ADTW heavily depends on enemies mistake, any decent pilot would’ve punish you there due to bein so close in slightly angled head on merge.
I don’t think there is any physical or software restriction to prevent adding R-77M to current SM2 in this case.
I also didn’t saw single document that states SM2 cannot use R-77M.
Yep, however I was still putting pressure on him, he made the mistake of going defensive and that let me win.
If he had actually engaged me (I don’t think he spotted me) I would have still fired my missile off and gone for a TRK MEME + sidelobe shot
It’s important to keep in mind that sparrows aren’t for guaranteed kills, they’re mainly for offensive pressure to keep people from just mindlessly pushing you
Those Derby missiles takes significantly less time to reach to target in 10km’s and pulls significantly harder than most missiles, your notch window would be really narrow while he would’ve enough time to dodge your sparrows.
Nevertheless at the end of the day he made a mistake and got punished for it, good kill.
Afaik the only proof Su-35S has R-77M is the pictures of it carrying them, the same cannot be said for Su-30SM2.
I mean, yeah…? If a missile isn’t planned to be integrated onto a plane, they probably won’t bring up said plane.
That’s true, but thanks to my better awareness I could shoot him first and he then panicked.
He made mistake, I won. L for him
works surprisingly well
Brother there is also not a single photo that shows current SM2 uses IRBIS radar/AL-41 engines or can carry dual racks and KH-38MT.
That logic isn’t suitable for Gaijin’s.
