Exactly, situational awareness is really important in this game.
Having AESA radar or not you should always have your eyes on sky and RWR.
Like I said good judgement and kill.

Kh-38s are comptable for Su-30MK derivatives (including the SM2)
If the MT exists or not is another topic we… probably shouldn’t fill this channel with.
Al-41F1S was tested on a few Su-30SM2s and are planned to be mass installed… eventually… (it’s good enough for Gaijin)
But yes, for the radar and dual racks, you’re correct, and they should be removed.
if you want to know how big of a difference the SU-30SM2 and SU-35 have, do a full vertical take off on SM2 and compare how the aircraft does to SU-27SM.
even with the AL-41’s it’s nowhere near close due to light airframe
Which plane is supposed to be the Su-35S??? Lmao???
It doesnt mention about derivatives, only talks about Su-35/30MK but thats not the point.
Tested doesnt mean its a standart.
F-15 was also tested with TVC engines and canards but didn’t recieved them during its operational history, nevertheless I also think SM2 will recieve those engines eventually.
Which both of us know Gaijin will not remove them so R-77M will most likely to introduce to SM2 as well.
Just because Russia hasn’t officially integrated this missile to Su-30 platforms doesnt mean they cannot use it.
Exactly lets call this conversation off from this topic, this thread is about F-2 ADTW.
SM2 is lighter than 35 so it will most likely be better than 35 in most flight regimes.
Anyway enough with flankers on this thread. Lets focus on F-2 once again.
To be fair if the Su-30MK is mentioned that at least direct variants of it like the Su-30MKK or Su-30MK2 should be expected. They don’t get Kh-38 in game, but I’m guessing they just didn’t want to add the best top tier CAS as premium and techtree variants (Su-30M? Chinese Su-30MK2?) might have it. Ground BRs are split, so that wouldn’t be an issue.
(Not related, I just like the way Su-30M variants look and want techtree versions)
My favorite one is the SM2, actually its my favorite Flanker overall, Su-37 comes second.
I can respect that, there isn’t really bad choices here
every single information about the SU-37 online is false information put out by the russian government
if I had told you guys what really caused that crash in 2002 this thread would be shut down
Since they didn’t state MKI derivatives of MKK derivatives I assume it’s just all of them.
But yeah, I’m happy the premiums don’t have the Kh-38 in game.
And how come you came to that conclusion? Were you the one who designed that plane or tested extensively in the first place?
Let me ask you something in your home language (judging your nickname you must be Turkish).
Hangi kaynağa göre bu şekilde konuşuyorsun?
.
Lütfen açıkla çünkü cidden merak ediyorum.
PM’i kullanabilirsin.
Iirc Su-30M2 comes with the upgraded N001VEP found on the Su-27SM3… Which means R-77-1…
So that could be fun.
I don’t think its that simple because as far as I know SM3 recieved additional software upgrade to utilize R-77-1.
Dont know if M2’s radar recieved the same upgrade.
That’s what I’m talking about.
Iirc the M2 is like… the only other planes with the Modernized N001VEP.
I don’t know man, do we need another tons of Sukhoi models at this rate?
Aside from unique models I believe Gaijin should stop adding flankers for a while and focus on Fulcrum models, unless they intend to add Terminator with R27EA as premium (according to leaks) ehehehe (please gaijin make it happen and my money is yours).
There’s a lot of them like the F-18’s and F-5’s I didn’t even know SU-30MK2 and MKK existed until they came as premiums to WT
SU-37 would be an end all be all for flankers
