Multipathing is broken in this game, I do not care what FOX3 or FOX1 can do your missile can’t hit me while I’m auto spamming counter measures under 30 meters when it comes to notching I am great at it but the issue is you can’t really notch on the ground due to how uneven the terrain is in most of the maps.
if the J/APG-2 can guide an AAM-4 then so it can guide an AIM-7P.
why are we notching on the ground

Also if gaijin cared a single bit aboutt making it accurate they would have given it AAM-4’s already this idea of finding out if it can carry the AIM-7P or not won’t change anything for them
and if the people in this post cared about realism they’d be banging on the door of Gaijin and asking them to give AAM-4’s to the ADTW

Trust me, you’re better off with the ADTW being this way. It’s one of the best 13.0s while the tech tree one is very much mid

At certain point you have to consider balance and uniquness in gameplay.
If we put AAM-4’s to ADTW it will basically become tech tree version which will it kills its differences.
Not to mention just because x vehicle can carry y weapon in real life doesnt mean it should be added right now, otherwise I could demand Meteor missiles for both Rafale and EFT and R-37M for Su-30SM2.

if Gaijin wanted to balance the game they wouldn’t give the ADTW AIM-7M’s and put it at 13.0, if Gaijin cared about the game balance every single MIG-29 in the game currently would have R-73’s and early variants would only have R-27R1’s instead of ER’s
You can’t sacrifice a certain variant of an aircraft to balance the game what is the point of adding that variant of the aircraft in the first place
