I want to discuss about teamkilling that happening in simulator battles.Almost every game i am getting teamkilled by lvl 40 players who have prem vehicles and play top tier sim or from players that have 0.4k/d and teamkilling because they do not know the difference of a Leopard tank from a T80.I have seen multiple times people teamkilling once not getting punished and then play on next game and again teamkill. One player can teamkill once in a game leave go next and teamkill again once and repeat the same without a punishment and i have seen that even tho i have reported him. There should be increase on punishments in sim especially where teamkilling exist and ruining the experience of his team.My solutions are lock players that are not lvl100 and have less than 500 games in GRB until they learn the game properly. Second implement punishment similar to csgo if u keep teamkilling on next game u will be banned for 30m then it will be increased to 1hour,3hour,1 day and 1 week that will force players to actually care and learn the sim gameplay.Lastly solution but not necessary is to implement ranked system in sim so more expert good players can enjoy the mode.
If I am being honest first time I did sim I shout my own teammate I was a St.emil they where a Jag.Panther there where in the pushes and all I saw was a different color from green and shot. After that I only had two team kills out of several team battles mostly because they where copy paste tanks that I had mistaken Identity and fired.
Don’t lock but making the silver lions penalty equal to the earning multiplier. I enjoy simulator battles a lot (when I get a larger map with good covers like Pradesh, which, out of topic, is the best for simulator battles in my opinion), often I get destroyed more for allies than enemies, I’m not exaggerating. I don’t get people, specially the german players friendly firing a AMX-30 Super, the vehicle design has nothing similar to a T-64A, T-62 or a Type 59, there’s no exportation variant in-game of the AMX 30.
For simulator battles there’s no reason for limiting the players to play it, it should be available for everyone, because, it’s already sad the point you (player) have to reach, selecting all the three servers to manage to join a match without going more than 3:00 minutes queue, but rather, monetary penalties, over all, this is my perspective. Also, people needs to learn vehicle recognition and use the game’s tools in their favor;
Using the leaderboard to check for allies vehicle is a good way to quickly know if the Panzerkampfwagen T-72M1 is allied or not, it’s simple, every export vehicle has a marking on it, and all of them have their unique camouflage colors. Simulator battles has a lot to improve not none of those improvement needs to make the mode more easier.
I do WW2 tank tigers and what not so I see a lot more copy paste or Ailled tanks on the Axis side.
You’re basically asking for Gaijin to scare people away from playing sim.
This does not sound like a good idea.
What if a new player wants to play sim?
Sim doesn’t have the player count for that.
Pretty sure they will get a temp ban if it is a regular thing they do.
It would have to be over a few days though
Aside from the standard SL penalty, I’m not sure what can be done about this. SIM battles are essentially designed to challenge the player in such a way that not identifying targets correctly will result in teamkills.
My thoughts are that it needs to be left up to the reporting and manual review system.
Exactly bro
You can mg them and if u do not see the hit mark+sl multiplier thats mean its friendly or u can ask for t-4-1 info so your friendly teammate mark himself on the map thats why people like u should learn the game first and then allowed to play on sim or make something like a tutorial before u can be able to join sim
People are already scared to play sim when they are getting teamkilled constantly and not having good experience from that gamemode especially on top tier where su34 can spawn twice with kh38
He should have enough games in GRB before joining SIM and before joining SIM there should be a tutorial explaining to him the mechanics and how to not teamkill.Other way is to put him on a lobby with the same players as his skill lvl
It wont work actually because the guy can make those SL back on the next game and be profitable the penalty should be like 400k SL yea it sounds a lot for penalty but thats the only way for people to start actually learn to not teamkill and actually care.
I mostly want to be limited for players that are lvl 40 and have prem vehicles and have 0 idea of the gamemode which makes the experience for the whole players bad.Thats why they should learn first and have enough games before joining this mode.Queue times are fine for me when i play on EU time at the evening the Queue times are dead only on US and trust me there are plenty people who play sim and enjoying it but sometimes they giving up because of teamkilling and unbalancing stuff thats happening.
One fast way to check is to mg the guy and see if u get the hit mark+sl multiplier if u wont see it then thats means its friendly or ask for t-4-1 so they can mark themself on the map
I have seen the same guy who was teamkilling constanlty playing for weeks and not getting banned. It kinda says how good the punishing system works
I don’t bother with sim because of the dogshit rewards and the relative difficulty to actually find players to kill.
I would recommend not arguing for even worse rewards, especially when half of the TK problem in sim is caused by Gaijin copypaste.
What sim has the highest multiplier than other modes and the rewards are rly good
Most of my games are like this.
Thats why i am trying to address so gaijin can finally start fixing the mode. Its 2025 and they havent made any change on it or try to improve it.Something that Leauge is doing with every patch trying to improve+fix+add things.
SIM have the best rewards, but ok
I’m really not interested in top players crowing about how many trillions of rewards they get.
For most players, sim is much slower to grind than realistic.
This is objectively not true. It’s harder to get decent rewards in sim than in realistic, this is a lot of the reason people don’t play sim.
Making that even worse would further deplete the player base for sim.
Half of the suggestions on the forum are basically “wah wah wah this small thing annoys me, please change it so it annoys the other 95% instead”, and are so obviously that.
Maybe partially true, but in my experience, the major factor is still the negligence of the players.
Just yesterday, 3 out of 4 deaths I died was to players from the same team, with IFF equipped aircraft, and I myself in faction-unique aircraft (MiG-29). And with one exception not even a dogfight situation with Red’s around, simply people not bothering to positively ID a target.
