Gaijin will never restrict players from BRs, either way, because its “unfair” to prohibit veterans from low tier and they want to sell top tier premiums to newbs.
Performance based MM is the only way to protect novice players and implementing anti-smurfing has to be based on MAC address numbers. Changing account is easy, changing computers or spoofing MACs not so much. Both should be invisible to players the same way the first 10 battles against bots are now.
I got lv 100 before i even touched ground.
Im still noob at ground 3 months in, idea doesnt work
Gaijin needs to prevent players from squading in friends that have ZERO vehicles within the BR range of the battle.

Why do you have that in quotations?
The idea is to prevent troll squads, which would mean some vehicles would straight up suffer from the proposal.
Should also enforce a minimum/maximum BR based on squad leader, ie if squad leader is at 11.3, everyone can’t go below (as an example), 10.0 or above 12.7.
But the idea needs refinement as some nations will get screwed by this.
Because its not really true. Because WT is supposed to be a game and good games are fair to all players.
Life is unfair, so making things artificially ‘fair’ is actually more unfair for people who actually want to improve in real matches
WT isn’t life. Its a game. Games that aren’t (perceived as) fair become cons and aren’t around long…
You ignored 98% of my reply, wtm do you even play the game?
98% of your reply is meaningless compared to the important 2%.
That isn’t really true. You don’t improve by getting stomped on and you def don’t improve if you quit the game in frustration.
What you replied to was the least important, stop being dishonest please.
And how do you even know this? If you don’t learn or experience what any of the actual experienced players are doing match to match what are you even gonna do? Get flanked in your Tiger H1 by a player in a Cromwell V over and over again?
Why do you assume a player can’t learn from anything but feeding kills to more experienced ones? Because you/we benefit from it?
You first.
So you’re just repeating what you said before, alright wow it’s like pressing a button on a toy that just spouts out repetitive voice lines
You literally didn’t prove anything, you’re just saying I’m dishonest because you said so.
We really got fellas bait maxxing on the nature of match making wow

forcing new players wont achieve a thing. There are tons of tutorials online. Chances are, new player who wants to learn on its own volition will seek the already aviable turorials anyway, and new player that doesnt want to learn literally does not care and will rather complain on the forums anyway.
you know, leading horses to water and stuff.
New players aren’t going to want to learn if they give up because the game is perceived (heh) to be rigged against them. And it doesn’t take long before that realization kicks in. I think I caught on after less than a week. Quit and only came back because I have an interest in mil. history and a masochistic streak. YMMV
average new player thinks of himself as being 1 000 000 IQ and knowing all there is to air to air combat since he saw top gun twice.
you could give such people million and one tutorial and they would still appear here on the forums complaining how X premium plane doesnt have Y despite wikipedia saying it can carry it.
Very very few new players post here on the forum. Its mostly old farts with nothing better to do.
most people don’t know about war thunders hidden tutorials (not the basic ones)
