Some vehicles doesn’t feel like should be at their current battle rating and should get some updates making more balanced matches.
If you have some suggestions feel free to recommend, I will update the topic with good suggestions.
USA
M1A2/M1A1 HC/M1A1 SA - 12.0 → 12.3
All Abrams are overperforming for its BR after its remodel, has everything that a 12.3 tank needs.
Germany
Leopard 2a4 + DM-33
Its ammo is too weak for its BR considering as some other 10.7 have better armor and ammo.
Boxer MGS - 10.3 → 10.0
After the adjusted reload rate on the Cockerill (5.0s to 7.5s) the boxer is a Radkampfwagen 90 with thermals but worst reload, not 10.3 worthy after this.
EMBT - 12.7 → 12.0 and switch ammo to DM-33 or OFL 120 G1
Slower than an Leclerc, weaker turret armor than Leclercs (and 60mm turret ring armor only), switching its ammo to DM-33 or OFL 120 G1 and bringing it down would make it more viable, making it closer to a type 90 but slower, worst reload and better hull armor.
USSR/Russia
T-80UM2 - 11.7 → 11.3
It has no thermals at 11.7, a tank that doesn’t have it shouldn’t be able to play against toptier tanks. T-72B3 Arena sits at 11.0 with same levels of armor and thermals but worst reload and worst mobility.
Britain
Chieftan MK10 - 9.3 → 9.0
Has a worst engine compared to the Khalid but sits at the same BR. Its slow and doesn’t have anything other than its ammo making it equivalent to vehicles at 9.3.
Japan
Harimau - 10.3 → 10.0
Same as the Boxer and CT-CV. After the adjusted reload rate on the Cockerill (5.0s to 7.5s) the Harimau is a Type 16 with worst reload, better turret and hull but still not 10.3 worthy after the reload update. Also should be shelved in the type 16.
China
M-41D - 8.3 → 8.0
Its apfsds doesn’t do much damage, making Heat the better ammo. The clovis sits at 8.0 with a better turret, cannon and mobility. Even while it doesn’t have thermals it is a better vehicle in general at a lower BR.
VT-4 - 12.3 → 11.7
China has better tanks at 11.7 (ZTZ-96B and AL KHALID) with more mobility and kind of the same level of armor, remember that the VT-4 has older era compared to the VT-4A1.
VT-4A1 - 12.7 → 12.3/12.0
Has worst mobility and weaker armor compared to ztz99a but has aps for a BR increase to 12.7.
ZTZ-99A and M1A2T are better tanks to play, remember that ztz99a is at 12.3.
Italy
CENTAURO 2 (P) - 12.3 → 12.0
Better engine, optics and has autoloader compared to Centauro 1 120 but its a lot bigger making it a bigger target, its autoloader makes it lose 1 crewmember and keeps the same reload time(ace crew vehicle) and its engine isn’t as big of a difference for the higher BR.
Ariete AMV 12.3 → 12.0
Only difference being the motor from the other Arietes but not that big to make it a 0.7 BR difference.
If M1A2 sits at 12.0 it will still be a better tank than Ariete.
France

Same as the Boxer and Harimau. After the adjusted reload rate on the Cockerill (5.0s to 7.5s) its not good for the BR, its a worst boxer mgs right now(bigger and slower).
Israel
Sabra MK 1 - 10.0 → 9.7 - reason - too slow and armor will be still ineffective against 9.7 tanks, it can hold t-55am shot but has thermals, a nice reload and a good ammo. CM-11 is at 9.3 being almost the same but having worst armor and cannon.
Namer/Eitan - 11.3 → 10.7 or LT → TD
Too slow and heavy, its armor doesn’t work at the BR and has too little missiles. Giving it TD would make it be able to restock its missiles improving it or getting it down in BR would make it have worst enemies vehicles making the spike more effective.
Taiwanese M41D should go down in br. No stab and a terrible apfsds round, probably the Bardelas its better, but bc of LRF and thermals then 8.0 if not 7.7 would be fine.
The fact that M1A2 and M1A1HC are a lower br than a 2A5 is still wild to me ngl

I dont really agree with the proposed EMBT and 2A4 changes tbh but the others sound reasonable enough.
Also, imo 2A4M and T-80UE-1 should be moved down to 11.7 atp, especially with U.S. 12.0 being as busted as it is rn, but also because even the base M1A1 and M1IP would probably still outclass them (havent gotten around to playing them yet but if 10.7 M1 and 12.0 U.S. are a indicator for anything then they’re likely just as demented)
Other suggestion I’d have is moving R 400 down to 9.3 and/or giving it 6s reload (which is what Thyssen Henschel lists for the turret btw, so not ahistorical) since its honestly just trash
Yeah, even before the remodel i liked playing the 12.0 and 10.7 abrams.
I probably have exaggerated the EMBT BR, maybe 12.0 would be enough with a worse ammo but i dont like how it is right now, in the stats the turret has -85mm compared to the leclercs, also both of these nations didn’t really need another 12.7 tank so its just a tank to forget rn.
I dont think both of these are at a bad BR but it would not change much at 11.7 as they both fall on the same enemies.
Since the leo 1a5 is at 9.3 too I don’t think it can go down.
8x Fire and Forget missiles would be too much at 12.3 for gaijin, the wildcat can only bring 4x NLOS (slower) spikes + 10x martlets, its the only heli with fnf missiles at 12.3 since its the only one with small amounts rn. Maybe with dirccm coming for it would make a better heli at 12.7. Most 12.7 helis have 8-10 fnf missiles, the only exception are the israelis.
Maybe a H145M with 4x spikes at 12.3 and another future one with dirrcm at 12.7 with 8x
I dont think Leo 1 A5 is a good comparison tbh and even with it, I dont think that R 400 qualifies for a higher BR as its worse or identical in every way, except for better gunner-tvd res.
Same dart, same gun-handling [but worse elevation limits], nonexistent armour [yes, worse than leo], fcs module crippling the entire tank, less ammo-capacity, horrendeous reverse-speed, mediocre acceleration and turning, etc.
And ofc it gets completely outclassed by other wheeled vehicles at the same and/or lower brs (Rooikats for example)
the only thing this tank has over the Vickers 1 is the laser rangefinder and armor (and heat I guess), in quite literally every other way it’s just worse. L52A1 is a joke of a round and the sniper view is almost nauseating.
Propsition: 6.7 —> 6.3 or give HE-AP bullets to 12.7mm/modification to use Akan m/39A instead of 12.7mm Akan m/45
Reasoning: The P-51H and F2G-1 dog it while the wings rip far too early. Reducing it’s BR, giving it the HE-AP ammo, or allowing you to swap the 12.7mms for 13.2mms would make it better
If you’re going to give the 2A4s DM33, they’d have to go to 11.0.
The Ariete (P) gets access to DM33 at 10.7, with the same 6s reload, but it has worse armour, acceleration, and hull survivability.
I’d argue 9.7 would make more sense.
Better optics and thermals is nice to have, but it had a much worse reload, worse armour, worse acceleration, and worse reverse speed.
The Arena has much worse mobility. The difference is staggering.
The Swedish T-80 U is at 11.3, and while its effectively identical to the T-80UM-2 in every aspect besides for thermals, it only gets access to 3BM42, whereas the UM-2 gets the much better shell that is 3BM46 (and the somewhat useful APS system).
The UM-2 at 11.7 is somewhat underwhelming, yes, but I’m not sure if it should be 11.3.
Again, just move it down to 9.7 along with the Boxer MGS. 5s → 7.5s is a HUGE reload nerf.
Again, a huge reload nerf, and the CT-CV is worse than the Boxer MGS and Harimau, like you stated.
I’d rather use the Rooikat MTTD than the CT-CV at this point.
No. 10.0 is fine.
Yes, CM11 is at 9.3, but it has:
Much worse turret armour (cannot tank any rounds, even 3BM25)
Has first-stage ammo stowed in the rear of the turret always first, just asking to get detonated
Worse hull armour
Much worse acceleration
Less smoke grenades
No LWS nor IRST nor HE-VT
Much worse round
Worse gun handling
… but gets a 50.cal and a 5s reload instead of a 6s reload.
