AMX10M is actually really fun and the 20mm has really good elevation making it good for taking out air.

Fair enough! Maybe one day use it, recently started the 8.0 german lineup to see what the fuss is about even though ive got top tier.

Dude the DF105 has to be broken, I shot one with an Somua shell went right between the gunner / commander and there was little spall if any.
Germany 8.0 is quite good, lightly skinned, but good

all marder hulls have been weird to shoot at for a long time. This also happens to the TAM because of this

I love when they bounce HEAT, or APFSDS, or just don’t spall… so fun…

Its not really the DF but that turret has little to no armor so very little spall, in my EBR 1954 i had an m18 shoot my turret and only kill my commander
In my Aubl 74 HVG I can get hit by a 20mm and it acts like a nuclear bomb went off in my tank.
Spall is inconsistent anyways. I shot a m103 a couple days ago in the lower hull, only killed the driver and loader, even though the ammo should’ve cooked off but it barely spalled.
Perhaps, but I have a lot harder of a time killing a DF105, than a marder or a tam, i wish it was in my head.
Thats why i said that turret, ive had a lot better luck with that turret design when it comes to getting shot than in most other vehicles.
Could be that it just has the T34 hull syndrome that the snail had to patch before it caused spall, idk id need to do specifc testing.
For me the tam is the worst. shit just wont die

They break things often. I remember when the IS-2 1944, 321, etc all the uparmored ones, the upper hill was at one point able to be killed by a .50 cal

What? The Type 59 APDS can’t even UFP a T-55 or M48, the round is so terrible it’s funny. And no it doesn’t get a LWS, and the slat armor does nothing except help with poorly aimed shots.
It’s actually incredibly funny that the ZTZ59D1 is the same BR with really good ERA (for the BR), and DM23 with the same reload.

I also want to add I think nerfing the T34 and setting up a BR level is a terrible idea considering it still has its gutted AP shell, its spall is so hit and miss these days you might as well skip it entirely

Sounds like the ZTZ59D1 should go up in br then.
But it’s like a T-62 vs a T-55A, technically the T-55A will survive more and has similar firepower, but the T-62 is above it based on age. (Not saying this has anything to do with it, it’s just odd to me).
I don’t recall saying nerfing the T34, rather just bringing it up in BR so it can’t seal club 5.7s anymore. The 120mm cannon is good, but has a long load time.
It’s a single radar set, not a search and track set radar; yeah, it’s fast, but so is the Gepard. The hull armor is pretty much useless, unless they are targeting your hull, the 5-15mm of steel armor in the turret doesn’t protect anything, and makes it an easy kill, just as all the other.
