The gun is phenomenal mate the issues getting breach shotted with it through the strangely thing turret armour.
But yeah conquoror should stay 7.7
Agreed
I played my IS-6 recently, and as to be expected, I had less effectiveness with my IS-6 than T29.
IS-6 : 5-7 kills on average
T29: 7-9 kills on average
Gun depression and the irrelevant armor due to HEAT made the IS-6 hard to play. Vs any conventional round it would bounce. ( other than a Tiger 1 round somehow bouncing off my upper hull, into the lower part of my breech, and nuking the whole crew).
I can’t remember if you and I were talking about the Tiger 1s Pzgr shot with 204g HE filler. Oh boy, I started using that, bad shots became kill shots. I feel elated lol
IS6 did get the improved round now though.
For me ive always uptiered it with the T10A so ive always used it in tbe 7.7 roaster.
Never had issues back then as much, but people seem to have figured out it aint so tough
That “improved” round really isn’t a great jump, if it was like 219 → 248 I’d say it’s good. I think it’s what 219 → 230
Thought it was a bit better, not sure how much numerically but knew it wasnt much.
IS6 isnt too bad at 7.7 to be fair, it suffers same as most heavies do at that br with heat and what not.
We neee decompression rather than recompression though move a lot of stuff up so the playing field.opens a good bit.
That’s actually crazy that you think. What you are saying good players have a NEGATIVE KD and WR? Are you being serious? This game is not so hard to play that anyone with a brain can’t get above 50% and above 2 kills per spawn (and thus an above 2 KD). I really really really suggest that you change your outlook because this is sickening.
My source is significantly more playtime and time spent in tournament circles and good squadrons. How would I know? Because I have played more than 1500 matches in total of 10.0+ cas.
I played the SLA and tried to avoid trading shots with the T29 in a hull down position, in this situation its easier for the T29 to kill the king tiger, but the king tiger is better everywhere else since he is ready to punch every 7.5 seconds, it can actually defend itself better against multiple enemies and perform better in a flank, if you sit far enough, say >700m, the turret cheek is a small area to hit, you will often find enemy miss them cheeks and you take no damage. Only thing you have to watch out for is those 155mm artillery like the Bkan, so many of them were added recently which makes armor obsolete, show a tiny bit of your turret dome then they will just one-tab you.
Most people have sub 0.60 kd
Most brain “celled” individuals can just camp a corner for free kills to boost their kd.
Great. People play other games than warthunder you know?
10.0 is not top tier.
Top tier cas is top tier.
That is high br cas which is shooting fish in a barrel.
So your source is trust me bro.
Ive got 3000 hours on the game, ive played with high level players as id like to enter tournaments, so ive had to steadily improve.
Most of these players did not sit in the 5.7 area as they felt it was unrewarding due to player opposition and team skill.
We have different experiences neither are sheer fact that speak for a player base, find me statistics for it or dont bring it up at all.
The tiger two trade off is the fact it cant sit hull down and trade exactly what i mean.
People just want the tiger two to stay 6.7 , like facing a tiger 2 in a jumbo man, no where near as similar as facing a t29 in a king tiger
Another strong vehicle that often gets slept on is the Ferdinand, which can reload the long 88mm in 6.7 seconds and has enough frontal armor to bounce hits by other 6.7s and even 7.7s, and near impossible to kill in one-hit even by the best APHE due to the crew placements and engine compartment in the middle, its one of the vehicle you wouldn’t think twice to engage any enemies you see, it’s also seemingly less prone to getting overpressure by the 155mm HE.
This is just a plain lie.
In the IS-6, your average kps and kd was 3.5 for the single game you played recently (in the past month). For the T29, you had 32 matches, a kd of 3.03 and a kps of 2.76. So I am really really confused as to where you get those numbers from unless you just totally disregard deaths.
So most people are absolute trash, it is not hard to see this.
Does this have any relevance on this? No, so why say this??? I play other games too, but it has no bearing on this conversation.
It cannot bounce 7.7s, neither can the Jag’dTiger
The Ferdinand I think is one of the better balanced tanks.
It can’t be killed easily by arty though.
Lmao where did you get either number from? I’m curious
