In my own experience playing the Kv-1E, Panzer 4s are incredibly easy to kill with it, and the panzers have a hard time killing it.
Anything that can reliably kill it is very weak when defending against the Kv-1E. Most TDs are open topped, and most artillery tanks are easy to kill with it as well.
Nah, Panther F is a lot easier to kill because the mantlet is so much smaller. All you really get is a marginally better reload and rangefinder. And the Panthers already are pretty mid at 6.0.
Speak for your self! I monitored 1000 matches for BR’s and I was uptiered 86% of the time to +1br, so I personally would see a hugely more proportion than deserved. lol
Because, most of the time - 4.0 is uptiered, so most of the TD’s heck even the new M44 1 shot kills it from pretty much any angle or distance.!!
Russian/German often face each other, so heavies are included in that but granted many other nations dont have a 4.0 heavy however as stated, the KVs are rarely at their own BR in the first place ( I know 100% for fact as this br is pretty much all I play for the last 10 years!. Now that said, go back say 1-2 years ago and I might (MIGHT) have said yup put it up, but since the introduction of new vehicles I stay strong - no adjustment
again compare to the BT7 - F32 at the same 4.0 BR! lol Same gun, better manouverability, kills KV1s easily - should that go up in BR?
I seriously can’t believe that you are defending such an overpowered tank…
Pvkv IV: that is a small part of the tank that it can pen, and it will never be in a situation where you will be impacting the UFP at that angle. Also, any amount of angling prevents it from being penned. Should the tiger I move down because its UFP is only 100m thick?
Arl-44: look at how small that area is.
Chi-Nu: same as ARl. I’d also like to add that the Chi-nu is a 3.0/2.7 tank at 3.3.
Ram II: Despite being an incredibly good tank, that spot is so small that you won’t be hitting it if the Kv angles at all.
M4A2: one of the few things that could actually deal with the Kv-1E, but again, look how tiny that weakspot is.
As for that German thing, those spots are still very small.
Lmao the Tiger has the gun, in which the KV-1E lacks.
The ARL-44: has a pretty decent ability to kill, while being lower in br, and having a better UFP.
Japan has some pretty good cannons for this br, hence “glass cannon”
I have killed the KV-1E with pretty much everything I listed myself.
Also thank @AllNationEnjoyer for proving my point further, since if you turn off vertical camera angle consideration the weak spots are even more immense.
Using the protection map can lead to false results because it sometimes shows areas as green while they shouldnt be. I assume it is due to volumetric being not considered
