Uptieres/MM aren’t a reason to keep something overpowered.

Pvkv IV: that is a small part of the tank that it can pen, and it will never be in a situation where you will be impacting the UFP at that angle. Also, any amount of angling prevents it from being penned. Should the tiger I move down because its UFP is only 100m thick?
Arl-44: look at how small that area is.
Chi-Nu: same as ARl. I’d also like to add that the Chi-nu is a 3.0/2.7 tank at 3.3.
Ram II: Despite being an incredibly good tank, that spot is so small that you won’t be hitting it if the Kv angles at all.
M4A2: one of the few things that could actually deal with the Kv-1E, but again, look how tiny that weakspot is.
As for that German thing, those spots are still very small.

Lmao the Tiger has the gun, in which the KV-1E lacks.
The ARL-44: has a pretty decent ability to kill, while being lower in br, and having a better UFP.
Japan has some pretty good cannons for this br, hence “glass cannon”
I have killed the KV-1E with pretty much everything I listed myself.
Also thank @AllNationEnjoyer for proving my point further, since if you turn off vertical camera angle consideration the weak spots are even more immense.

The gun is the biggest weak point, always has been on any of the KVs have you not learned that by now?
So what should a heavy tank have the armor of a light tank now? Your logic makes 0 sense.
Using the protection map can lead to false results because it sometimes shows areas as green while they shouldnt be. I assume it is due to volumetric being not considered
Shooting on the move is not a gimmick. Not being able to shoot on the move is big disadvantage especially on city maps.

Yeah and that’s why you uptier the Rakjpz Hot? It already got moved up during decompression. It used to be 8.0. It’s one of the worst vehicles germany has around 8.3. It’s even worse than the one with the SS.11 since they introduced mouse aim SS.11.
Btw. even the armor even got nerfed from 50 to 30 mm, despite it having 50 mm in real life and gaijin using a prototype as reference. This tank is literally one of the only few tanks I regulary try spading but give up on because it is so useless compared to the M48 A2 G A2 on the same br.

Yeah, the gun isnt bad enough to justify the armor increase for just 0.3 above the already strong kv1 l11

Yeah, I mean the 75mm Jumbo is 5.7, the 76mm Jumbo is 6.3 with 50% more pen.
The KV-1E should be like 0.3 below the KV-1 ZIS-5, which has basically the same armor (slightly worse) and a slightly stronger gun.
The only thing that keeps the KV-1E at 4.0 is it’s premium status.
Tanks are balanced around their performance.
Easy to kill - Can kill easily
is just as balanced as
Hard to kill - Hard to get kills
And 76mm APHE is able to one shot a lot of vehicles by hitting weakspots or simply hitting tanks in the hull side or turret.

No, this post is a cesspool of bias and the majority dont agree with your takes. Its a fact, this post has been a waste of data and discussion and im all for a mod to lock it since every other post is irrelevant arguing or a biased take. You are biased i am biased. Some points are valid. The better choice would be to argue for an equally less likely need which is decompression.

This is true, but they are both very potent. The T30 can over pressure even on no penetrating hits sometimes too
