Proposal: Dynamic BR – Integrating Vehicle Upgrades and Loadouts into BR ( Battle Rating )

The current Battle Rating (BR) system needs a fundamental rework. Currently, a vehicle’s BR is fixed based on its maximum potential performance, which creates a massive and unfair gap during the “stock grind.”

I believe that a system where the base capabilities of the vehicle remain the foundation of its BR, but the installed upgrades and chosen loadouts act as modifiers, would be much fairer.

It is unreasonable for a stock vehicle (missing key components like APFSDS, laser rangefinders, or competitive missiles) to be treated the same as a fully “spaded” one. Under this proposal, the BR would dynamically adjust—within a reasonable limit—based on what the player has actually unlocked and equipped. This would ensure a much fairer environment for those starting a new line, while still maintaining balance for players who have already completed their vehicles but face superior opponents in constant uptiers.

What do you guys think? Would this make the grind more bearable?

ehhh it would be nice in theory, but imo its not the most pressing issue and it would likely take a lot of dev work

The only way I can see this working is only for aircraft and tanks, and only for loadout changes. Bringing in too many variables would make everything too complicated.

Ideally it would be swapping like 9Ls for 9Ms on an F-15/F-18C Early to make them 12.7/13.0, or downgrading the APFSDS on the T-90 to make it 10.7. Any more than 2 preset BRs based on the modifications/loadout you have is too difficult to balance.

Players will find a way to abuse this as much as possible.
