Let’s talk about France’s early jet aircraft.
I just finished the test drive and am on my way back, and I feel absolutely dreadful.
Ourgan, Mystere series… The common thread among all these aircraft is undoubtedly their lackluster acceleration, top speed, and energy efficiency.
Yes, these elements are terrible for conducting aerial combat.
Some action seems necessary… Shouldn’t there at least be a change to the BR?
+Why is the muzzle velocity of the Mystere 2C’s gun 600 m/s?
2C is the one with DEFAs no? They do plenty of damage with that low velocity in my experience, and they’re used all the way to 14.0.
Ouragan / Bouragan are both decent enough for 7.7 imo, against sabres and MiG 15s yikes but that’s just compression. The Vautour and Super Mystere are pretty fun with the aa20 in headons
2C uses a unique weapon called the DEFA 541, but its muzzle velocity is only 600 m/s :(

No, you’re just saying to lower yet another jet’s BR instead of fixing the actual issues with the game. You may be new and not understand but this is a virus that needs to be eradicated permanently within the community. That same mindset is why we have undertiered F-86s and MiG-15/17s that ruin the rank 5 bracket and make your French jets bad as it is.
Then the only solution is to decompress BR :(
But Gaijin doesn’t include that in the answer key… It’s really sad.
