Just like napalm tossing lol
Tbf, this is just on AESAs, this is technically possible on some mechanically steered systems…
Although that being said, it would never be used irl due to the absurd risks carried by angling the plane to effectively use it.
Same with the environments these vehicles find themselves in, they’re never going to happen the same way they do here and they’re not built for this.
It’s a game, we should treat it as such
this is impossible to do in test flight. once SARH without datalink lost lock including the track memory, it simply fly away.
so most likely gaijin spaghetti/netcode bug.
not a bug
The missile still is running on SRC
If an aircraft gets illuminated by your radar again and is within the missile’s FOV, it will switch to TRK once it sees the illumination and go for it
huh, i’ll be damned. it do work, i see what you mean.
it’s hard to deny what’s infront of you when evidence is provided.
unless you are delusional, like a certain other person in this thread
it also depend on how the missile approach though. enough deviation and too long to relock it basically useless
yeah, it’s not as good as actual DL, but it’s still useful
It doesnt even have to be within its beam halfwidth, as long as its within its receiver sidelobe it will work.
SARHs do tend to have relatively narrow receiver halfwidths, but ita still enough to make it fairly comfortable.
Always funny to see people say this
I think your issue stems from the fact you have no TT aircraft around 13.0 and your three most played aircrafts are all japanese premiums.
You write books worth of arguments but the matter of fact is your experience with the ARB enviroment around 13.0 is simply nonexistent.
Get a TT vehicle around that BR first, ideally in different nation, and then come back to this discussion.
Until then your view is and will stay warped.
They are just that bad.
A simple roll and they are beat
In a head-on, it’s all about knowing how to fire the missile.
did this thread just get nuked?
mod deleted stuff
Really isn’t about preference, the flankers just have a better kit for air rb clubbing. 6x-8x 27ER’s just slap.
I think most people’s complaints with the 13.0 Flankers comes from the Radar, which the F-2 is definitely superior in.
Along with that 2/3 of the 13.0 Flankers still use SPO-15, only Su-33 uses L-150. So The F-2A also has a better RWR.
But other than that, The Su-27s definitely win out on armament.
The only issues with the F-2A ADTW are the bipolar matchmaker thanks to the very undertiered premium flankers and the very recent radar bug that started coming out in the last 4 days or so
@まえる
Like people mentioned their no need to give it aam4 because it’ll increase its br because it’s a great plane with asea radar and good fm with good irccm missiles not to mention the tech tree variant already exists and has the aam4 so it would essentially be a copy and paste best type of buff for the f2a adtw would be trying to get info on the aim7m to get it buff
