Premium Aircraft, Particularly Jets, Change the BR of a plane you have bought. Really?

@4HorsemanOfApocl
Gaijin Entertainment isn’t on a list, it’s an EU member company which means if you’re not in the EU you need to contact your bank for purchases of EU companies.

I had to do this with my financial institutions to purchase Japanese, European, etc products.

I’m a critic of War Thunder, one of ten-thousands.

Meanwhile you actively lying about basic generous video game practices is itself defending far worse behavior.

So me, something that’s rather easy to deal with.

Also DCS is literally War Thunder with less vehicles and DCS isn’t paying their contractors right now.

Also Norton is spyware software.
You literally admit you prioritize purchasing scams.

Also there’s nothing to investigate. If Gaijin is guilty of anything, Steam, GOG, etc are all guilty as well.
All of gaming would die if Gaijin’s guilty of anything you’re falsely accusing.

All the while you’re using a suspect bank, and spyware.

lmao go on buddy, you are welcome to sue a game for having a plain and clear rules:)

youre telling me Im lying?

“All critics are Gaijin employees.” - @4HorsemanOfApocl

Your question was answered and you double downed on nonsense.

I criticized your post, I answered you who I was [A critic, which means a player], I implied I was American by mentioning Europe and Japan as well as overtly saying I’m American in my bio, and on top of all that MANY posts here tell you overtly that changing BR is not fraud.

BR changes is no different to Melta Rifle in Space Marine 2 being nerfed.
Paying for the game is paying for a functional product. We are not paying for specific BRs.

Our conversation is done please. Because you dont answer any questions, you have nothing but drama to offer. It is one dramatic reply after the other. No solutions, only subtle politicians answers. My question Ive asked you many times now, are you paid by Gaijin in some way? GEs, silver lions? Because frankly, I believe you are. You ought to think about politics Alvis Wisla, because you would make a very good one

Premiums, like all vehicles in WT have highs and lows. Their status in the meta is impossible to remain identical as it was at the point of purchase, because new stuff which changes said meta are constantly being added.

Not a premium, but F5E is a perfect example of this cycle. When it was added, it was top tier, incredibly powerful. Meta defining even. Then new top tiers were added. It suffered more and more each update. The top BR was expanded 0.3 above it. Then 0.7 above it. Then 1.0 above it. All this time it suffered. Then finally, top tier was 1.3 above it, it escaped the top zone, and found a new lease of life being OP again in near constant downtiers.

This kind of cycle happens constantly in WT. 1.3 BR below max BR is the goldilocks zone.

Also, as per your example of the Iranian Tomcat, no one forced anyone to buy that. It could be obtained for free. It was just purchasable for those who couldn’t be bothered to grind it.

You know what I do for a living, I work with autistic children. But I do not deal with so much nonsense in the REAL world as I do every time I get on this game here lately. This is becoming ridiculous.

Consistency, I mentioned earlier. If I buy a quarter pounder with cheese in Seattle Washington, I will be able to buy that same quarter pounder with cheese in Dalton Georgia, three years later and it will still taste the same, but perhaps Gaijin isnt as consistent as MCDONALDS. If I take three weeks off from playing this game, and I hop into a plane “virtually”, that plane will be different three weeks later. But with all the GENIUS DEVS AND COMPUTER WHIZS working on this game, they cant produce something as consistent as some teenager frying a Quarter Pounder with Cheese in McDonalds in some little small town or big city when they havent even graduated from High School yet?

@4HorsemanOfApocl
The solution is for YOU to change.

Live service games are not beholden to a permanent state of balance.
Space Marine 2, Counter Strike, War Thunder, Dota 2, Rust, Runescape, etc are all 100% allowed and encouraged to change the balancing of weapons in their games.

War Thunder’s exclusive balance method for weapons is the BR system.

If you don’t like weapon balancing in video games, that is your preference.

But yeah, keep thinking War Thunder’s critics are the enemy. All you do is prove everyone that understands or prefers live service games to be correct.

Correct is not the right thing? And so being Correct is wrong. Okay I will definitely change, I will change everything, that is a very good suggestion, CHANGE is my mantra. Change is in my near future.Thank You for your “INSIGHTS”

And I do appreciate you telling me my United States Bank, which has been in business for some 100 or some odd years has a problem and Gaijin does not. I will get with my bank about that, because Im sure their rules and regulations are far less stringent than some video game company based in a questionable part of the world. Thank you for the heads up.

But of course I was lying about that

I’m not entirely seeing the correlation between food stuffs being consistent across a franchise, and a video game with immensely complicated, overlapping systems of balance, in a constantly shifting, evolving and expanding content environment.

Vehicles in WT rise, fall, and rise again. It’s cyclical as the BR’s expand.

Look, I don’t think anyone here is capable of changing your mind. You’re in a very firm headspace on this, and I’m not one to argue. I just wanted to point out that things can improve, and I hope you’re able to enjoy the game more.

Calling the European Union “questionable”… dude.

Getting angry because your favorite vehicle moved in BR is not helpful.
Either play it, or play another vehicle.

You know what I did when M18 moved up? I kept playing it.
A BR change is not the end of the world, but I also have 20 years experience with MMOs and other live service games to help me understand that balancing will occur.

I appreciate you well thought out and candid reply. Thank you, you seem to be one to come to solutions, rather that argue. I am simply pointing out to the fact that when one opens their wallet, or purse, it then becomes a Product that is sold, and when a product is sold in whatever type of business it is, that product should be a quality product that is able to be reproduced again and again, that is why in whatever type of business it is they have Quality Control employees. What type of company produces a product that fluctuates in its quality? That is the question here. What type of company does that? Whats the very first word that pops in your mind from that very simple question? You know very ingenious people all over history make things simple? And so there is the question, What kinds of companies produce products that fluctuate in their quality time and time again?

Oh it wasnt my “Favorite Vehicle” it was more than a number of vehicles, favorite or not, whether it be MINE, or other PLAYERS. This is just a different world now, you have accepted mediocrity it seems. To me, you have no historical perspective on this game, or the business world in general. And so I will let you have the last word. I am done bantering with you over a topic which you seem somewhat,…youthful in your perspective of, akin to discussing Calculus with a fourth grader I would say. The dramatics of this conversation over virtual planes in a digital world that doesnt really exist have become quite tiresome to me. You will never see a post from me again in this Forum. But always remember your money and your standards are VERY real. And so you support this game with all your might, even though the US Banking system red flags it. Because who are all those bankers, they dont know anything.

On a fundamental level, I do understand the core point you are making, and the emotion that drives it.

I just think WT is one of the rare examples where it does not apply, because it can’t apply. Let me paint a scenario for you :

Imagine there are two premiums, added at the same time. One (A) is sold at 10.0. One (B) is sold at 11.0. It’s hard to gauge how vehicles will perform before release, so initial BR’s are often just proprietary.

It’s quickly obvious after the update that Premium A is really struggling at 10.0. Conversely, it’s quickly obvious premium B is really over-powered at 11.0.

So what would you have Gaijin do? Just ignore the problem, let one suffer and one dominate, because that’s the experience people paid for, many of whom pre-ordered, with no idea what gameplay would actually look like for these vehicles ?

But then to complicate things further, A and B are not the only premiums. C-Z also exist in this BR range. All of them are being negatively impacted by this too. People who purchased those are demanding you change A and B’s battle rating, so now what?

You’ve got A who wants to go down to 9.7, but C who is 8.7 will be furious if he’s now asked to fight A. You’ve got B who doesn’t want to go up, but you’ve got D who’s 10.0 and furious he’s being forced to fight this overpowered newcomer in B.

Point I’m making is, there’s like 2,000+ vehicles in this game. Hundreds of them were purchased. All of them are in literal and metaphorical conflict with one another. It is legitimately impossible to maintain the gameplay experience when new stuff gets added, so Gaijin have never pretended to do so.

@4HorsemanOfApocl
I’ve worked with game development in my past as a 3D modeler, and I’ve been working with businesses for far longer in general.

Meanwhile you claim to be in your what 60s, which I doubt since your posts are not anywhere close to the behavior one would expect from an adult.

I don’t remember the rank of a premium to be decreased. This I would consider an issue. Instead, we have some premiums that went up in rank or have a high rank at a low BR.
