Arietes are slower and have even less armor, they’d definitely be far worse off than the 2A4M if it got DM53, more so than they are already
Tbf the Arietes are also worse tanks, DM53 is their only advantage.
Regardless of how they peeform, there is precedent for DM53 being an 11.3 round.
PL Leopard also doesnt get DM53 and thats the same br bracket as the 2A4M rounds seem pretty comparable to the DM43
There is also precedent for 3BM60 at 10.0. Doesn’t mean that the TURMS-T should have 3BM60, or any of the other T-72s and T-80s at 10.0+ that don’t have it yet.
The Arietes get DM53 at 11.3 because otherwise they’re 10.3 tanks, maybe 10.7 with the addon armor.
On the other hand, the Leopard 2PL only gets DM43, also at 11.3.
So move it up in BR where it belongs.
They could have added the 2A4M as it exsted when it went to Afghanistan but no. They chose to add the 2015 upgraded version which puts them in a bad spot.

Just because they gave it slightly different ammo? I really don’t see the problem. They wanted to add an 11.3 prem for Germany and this is what they thought would fit best. With DM53 it would be 11.7, which they dont want, because for now they’re not selling max BR vehicles, and in the Afghanistan configuration it would be lower than 11.3, which they weren’t looking for.
This most likely was just a “give all major 3 an 11.3 prem” thing.

Imo the 2A4M would be perfectly fine at 11.3 with DM53. If they arent going to give it its spall liners, i feel like DM53 should be fine.
Yeah. And the devs don’t feel like that, and I kinda agree with them.
The best would be to give it DM53, raise it to 11.7, and push the better 11.7s (like 2A7V) to 12.0, imo. Then it still wouldn’t be a max BR prem.

10 minutes ,somebody is being too optimistic.
Move it up and then you need an 11.3 premium to fill the gap and this addition was a waste of time
Making the 2A7V 12.0 ans the 2A4M 11.7 is exactly what i want to see.

Is it worth to buy when it will be on sale during Christmas? I enjoy playing Leo 2PL, also I need german premium tank to end tech tree.
Dont think it will be on sale.
They need to be 2-3updates old so it might not necesarily be included.
But generaly if you like the PL you should like the 2a4m can as well

It should be on sale, because there will be update in fall and next in december, so it will be older than last 2 uptdates
2-3 gajin often skips for the periods when there is a realy short time in between updates
