friendly reminder its a WIP, hull armor never was supposed to be close to A7 lol, no idea what u expected and gen 1 thermals might either be WIP or we gotta fight for the gen 3, since the gen3 was a later upgrade
There is also C-Tech armor filler, A4M is a later model

I can’t imagine how a Leo2A4 with B-Tech 3rd generation thermal imaging technology would perform against a Russian T-80UE1

You can’t verify the quality of what you’re buying.
Not on dev server so guess it doesn’t matter. The leocan is pretty good on dev…no spall liners though.
2A6M CAN will have turret spall liners I think but that’s about it
Bummer. It’s still good vehicle on test. Worth buying imo.

The base of the 2A4M was the 2A4NL. They still possess the old welded shut ammunition hatch in the side turret making it appear to be a B-tech leopard.

I think pretty much all Leopards have this welded ammunition hatch, except for maybe some very late production ones.
The welded hatch stopped being present on late 5th batch leopard 2s.
Maybe come release.
Isnt the mantlet supposed to also be composite instead of rha in the dev server, I hope they do fix thst.
The mantlet seems to not be hollow like the wedges but I wouldn’t expect any noteworthy KE protection from it.

I assume its not implemented correctly as its currently worse than a base Leo 2A4. Just yesterday you couldn’t select the beak armour in the armour viewer, so I assume its still WIP?
I mean, except for being worse than the 2A4, the armour performance is realistic.
And Britain shouldn’t get stuff that Canadians just bought elsewhere instead of developing it themselves.
Just face it, Gaijin will not make a techtree that has a Leopard 2, T-90, Abrams and Challenger 2. It would make getting half of top tier too easy in one tech tree.
So stop with the stupid commonwealth argument and accept that Gaijin will put vehicles where they want them to be, not where some of the users want them or whats politically correct.
Also the good reason Britain doesn’t get a Canadian sub tree ist that they already have 5 lines including a South African sub tree. Why would they get two sub trees when most other nations have way less vehicles?
