The thing is top tier is now becoming so saturated with Leopards it’s ridiculous. With Seek & Destroyer we now have 4 nations with Leopard 2s. I don’t think any Leopards should come to Britain, especially since they have their own domestic vehicles.
Also, if Britain did hypothetically get the 2A4M as a squad vehicle and Russia got the Bhismha, you would still be splitting a nation, just India now instead of Canada.

Do you mean German vehicles or vehicles of any nation? Given the situation we’re in now I think Australian Abrams for Britain would make more sense than a Leopard; if you are going to copy paste things into another nation’s top tier at least vary it a bit. But frankly, I would rather nations be kept to what they actually used as much as possible. If I play Germany, it’s because I want to play Leopard 2s. If I play Britain, it’s because I want to play Challenger 2s. If I play France it’s because I want to play Leclercs. Not because I want to spend 100 hours grinding another Leopard 2, or another F-104G, or another 10 more Shermans and T-34s. Nations in War Thunder should come as they are as much as possible, the good and the bad.

Ah, to clarify I meant export vehicles that were never used by the manufacturer’s nation, only by the customer nation.
For example KF-41:
Made by Rheinmetall and exported to Hungary. Gaijin added it to Hungary only, since Germany doesn’t use it themselves. This understandably made some Germany players (including me) upset. That’s why I would rather them add export vehicles like this
Add 2 versions of the export vehicle:

The base model in plain color scheme to manufacturer nation’s TT, this is the basic configuration as constructed and tested by the company. This way you honor the intellectual property and engineering of this nation. Voice lines from manufacturer nation and no markings.

The export vehicle in customer’s color scheme to the customer nation’s TT, or to whatever “host” TT is most fitting. This way you represent the user nation and strengthen/unify their in-game presence.
This way Britain could have their Australian Abrams, and the US would have the “plain” version of the export M1A1 AIM (They’re the same except visually). One gets their representation in the way they prefer, and the other gets the tech they made. A win-win situation.
To be fair Leo 2A5 still uses the short gun and has DM53 in game, Leo PL also uses DM53 IRL just gaijin gave it DM43 so it could be at 11.3. So mostlikely this will get DM43 as well and be 11.3

Also dont forget the main reason this isnt going to UK. UK already has the Chally OES as its 11.3 premium , Germany now gets this. It was fully expectable that this is not going to UK, yet some of you still thought it would go to UK for some reason.

I didn’t check the comment you’re replying to, but no one saying the Leo should go to Britain is saying the bushma should go to Russia. They’re saying IF the Leo goes to Germany than the bishma should go to Russia. If they are saying that, it’s non linear logic, but anyone(me included) I’ve seen arguing this aspect is saying if it goes to Germany, not Britain then so should the bishma for logic congruency’s sake. Both should go to the associated nation or none should.
It’s a hypothetical. Brit mains are complaining that they should have gotten the 2A4M instead of the Bhishma, which would leave the Bhishma to then go to Russia, keeping Canadian vehicles together but splitting up India.
From what Gaijin is doing, it looks as if they are making India a sub-nation of Britain which is why the Bhishma went there and not to Russia, that way, at least India can stay together. Canada never had that status in the British tech tree though.
Well realistically they should have gotten both, or neither. That’s sort of the point.
India is no more deserving of tech tree status than Canada. We all perfectly understand why India’s tank went to Britain. This fact isn’t lost on anyone, and it’s the same reason this one should as well.
Making Canada part of the Britain TT as a sub nation is perfectly logical, even splitting it between US and Britain or staying as American makes some sense. However, going to Germany and labeling it as a Canadian vehicle does not.
It’s not a terrible solution, but I think it dilutes the tech trees. My problem with giving Hungary a KF-41 was the fact that Germany had no vehicles with a spike launcher, even though Germany has many vehicles that use Spike, including the Puma, Boxer, and Wiesel. On top of that, Italy got access to a vehicle Germany’s only domestic hard kill APS, Strikeshield (aka AMAP-APS) before Germany did. So if they introduced a vehicle with those features, like the Boxer ARV, I wouldn’t really feel so bad about Italy having the Puma.
Germany already had a Canadian tank from a few years ago, so based on that giving Germany the 2A4M, the successor to the C2, makes perfect sense. Germany has supplied MBTs to Canada for over 50 years, there is a strong relationship built up there. Canadian vehicles have different homes, based on what the vehicle is. It’s maybe not as ideal as having the nation all together, but it is what it is. For India however, which is a recent addition to the game, there is an opportunity to do just that, and it seems like it’s the path that Gaijin is taking.

Its the only good thing about the CR3
There’s no reason Canada shouldn’t have its own tech tree in Britain’s line and Germany should be getting none of Canadas stuff this vehicle included. Just as indias should be going to Britain, and South Africa, as well and Australia and New Zealand.

Hey guys I just checked this on DEV server and its complete garbage tank , unless it is not fully modelled yet.
Turret armor is around 350mm , hull armor is not even close to A7 . On top of that it has GEN1 thermals where it was false advertised to have “high resolution thermals”
I just asked for a return for my preorder.
