Canada is a multicultural country, perhaps the crew are just German immigrants. Very possible, I know a few Germans myself here.

Its entirely subjective. Nobody is objectively right. Its gaijins game and tjey can add vehicles were they see fit. I dont see them adding a german tank to germany as a slight to my nation, i dont see Britain getting the ADATS as a slight either. Its a bideo game tank that is completely optional to buy, why get mad over a nothing burger?

You said it was the “next best” thing, I pointed out voice lines would have required more work and has been done before in the exact same situation, so THAT is now the “next best” thing they could have done. What you’re happy with shifts down a peg to become the next-next-best or in other words, “lazy half-assed thing.” Which you say is fine by you, and that’s your choice.
I didn’t say it was a slight to a nation, I said that Gaijin by their actions here is showing it values your customer loyalty to them less than an Australian or Hungarian, while still asking for $90 CDN from you. Customers are entitled to spend their money accordingly. That’s not getting mad, didn’t say that, either: that’s just having a minimum of consumer self-respect.

F-15J is license built in Japan by Mitsubishi heavy industries and uses domestic Japanese avionics and weapons, which I think justifies it being in their tech tree, but for the most part I agree with you, how many copy paste USA, Russian and German vehicles are in other nations TTs now? Even the current battle pass is a copy paste Tiger 2 for Sweden. IMO unique variants should go to the nations that used them, standard variants should stay in the nation that developed them. But Gaijin just seems to put things where ever they want, the KF41 was modified in Germany for Hungary, exactly the same way this thing was for Canada… but it goes into the Italian TT.
Honestly I would bet this L2A4 CAN is going to Germany because Gaijin looked at the numbers, saw more people play Germany than UK and said “thats where it will sell the most”. Well that and UK has the Chally 2 OES at 11.3 already.

And what ammunition it use?
No major frontal hull armour upgrades. DM53A1 is the service APFSDS round.
Best guess would be prob dm43 for balance
But we will see

You could in theory satisfy both Fritz and Barry at the same time by adding two variants of the vehicle.

The “base” model in olive drab to Germany, this is the tank itself as KMW constructed it. This way you honor their intellectual property. German voice lines and no markings.

The 2A4M CAN in Canadian livery to British or potential Canadian TT. This way you represent the user nation and unify their in-game presence.
This logic could also be applied to other vehicles the German TT missed out on, such as KF41 Lynx, and similar export vehicles added in the future.

What worries me right now that France will get Leopard 2 from Dutch but instead of going to German they going to France who have nothing to do with it seem to me Gaijin out of idea
Yeah, it also seems like a convenient way to avoid the issue of balancing top tier tanks from “minor nations” such as France.
