? maybe im missing something, it still hit the target the laser was pointed at no? do you mind pointing out where in the video to look as all i saw was that laser was left on the top of the tank, bomb hit and didnt explode until after it hit the ground?
it accurately hit the spot it was supposed to, just didnt take out the tank as it was put in a bad spot
Even if it did get the kill(witch it should’ve have) the other plane with fnf missiles is already heading back to reload while your barely gonna start heading back especially if the majority of the fnf missiles gets kills it’s obviously gonna do better
well yea, overall i would say that FnF munitions have more benefits than laser guidence and such ofc they are a better overall munition, but i just prefer the accuracy of the laser guidance, and since it’s cheaper i can bring a few ljdams, a couple of fnf’s, a2a, etc
for a while i typically ran a settup as follows on the A block 15 ADF and C block 50 F-16s, 2xAIM-120s stations 1 and 9 (wingtips), 2xAIM-9Ls stations 2 and 8 (under wingtips), and AIM-7s on stations 3 and 7, rest is gas, had the most fun in the matches were i ran it, hell recently got a ACE with the ADF with that settup
These days I run full AIM-120A loadout on the ADF but it had its time with mixed stuff like you described too.
yeah, i typically just pop the AMRAAMs off right at the start after getting up to 30K feet after that everything else is nice and close

Think the biggest difference is the volume of Fox 3s which are 1 in hte air and 2 that a plane can hold.
Like i can take 4 Aim7s which have to be guided in one at a time manually (hard locked) or there can be others who have 6 - 8 ARHs which can just sling them off and bugger off into a notch or into a defensive position whilst keeping the pressure on.
It’s not that difficult to notch fox 3 but there usually is more of them to dodge which is why I think people get the idea they’re better missiles.
Through enough sh** at a wall it’ll stick eventually.
I have tested the F-14D in 10 matches and it was really terrible. The Aim-54C+ even missed a bot completely. You can check on Statshark to see if I am a good player :/

The AIM-54 didn’t get better; it actually became much worse. I really regret buying it
I’m glad I bought it with Gaijin coin I made from past events. Was no way I was going to spend actual money on this thing.
