The car body has no deflector, breakwater and propeller.

Yes. It doesn’t look like a amphibious tank. Some of us thought it could be China’s next gen tank.

It looks more like ZTQ15’s successor than 99A, cause it doesn’t look like it is that promising in terms of protection.

Maybe China is planning to use light and fast tanks in the future instead of MBTs.

Could be something designed for better transport since ZTZ99A is 1 per Y20, could do with 2 although I don’t see it being implemented in recent years cause ZTQ15 seems enough.

I wasn’t sure if there was a general discussion post for Chinese vehicles, but this was as close as I could get. Regarding this year’s Zhuhai Airshow, I thought this might be a good place to post and discuss some of the vehicles showcased. So far for ground vehicles, there’s been a couple 8x8 VN22 variants spotted so far.

First is the self-propelled howitzer variant.

Then there’s also a new fire support version, which allegedly has a 125 mm gun, and there’s a video of it moving around as well.

Not really relevant to War Thunder at the moment, but there seems to be an electronic warfare variant on the 6x6 chassis.

I saw some sources saying ZPL94 has ability to fire ATGMs, any truth or needs extra upgrades.

The 105 mm? It can fire a GLATGM.

Judging from the leaked photo information so far, it should be equipped with a short-barreled 125mm gun, equipped with a tail-cabin automatic loader, and China has a certain amount of research on the tail-cabin loading of 125mm sub-loading ammunition.

I noticed it did look a bit shorter than the 125 seen on the ZTZ96 and 99. Still though, a bustle mounted autoloader for a 125 is definitely something new, especially on a wheeled vehicle. That ZBL08 with the 125 from 2015 must have helped in developing this.

Any sources in particular? Cause we could make a bug report about 88A since that uses ZPL94 105, and doesn’t have ATGM. Should be similar to WMA 301’s GLATGM.

I do have a U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command quick reference guide that says the ZTZ80/88 can fire it, but nothing much better than that. To be honest, the GP105 can be fired from just about any 105 tank gun, so I’m guessing it’s one of Gaijin’s odd ammunition placement decisions.

That thing had a massive 125mm with a caliber of like L60.
