The strongest 9.3 tanks are ZTZ-96, Leopard 1A5, XM-1, etc.
T-72A is not the strongest, it’s average for the BR.

ZTZ-96’s equal is the T-64B which is currently 10.0.

ZTZ59D1 is the best 8.3 in the game firing the best round while having a laser range finder.
The ZTZ88s are better due to superior turret traverse and slightly better mobility.

anything is

Yeah and almost every nation have good vehicles that can deal with all the vehicles he listed

If you were complaing from 9.7 and above that makes sense because of bmpt but at the end of the day it is just another Russian tank you can kill like all other ones, but kh38 are really good compared to mavericks

Talking about the 122mm cannon if you read the post

Not talking about the is2 im talking about the D-25T 122mm cannon and using the is2 as an example

?
Cannons don’t have BRs, vehicles do.

kv122 is pure bais at 5.3

Ah, I got baited, my bad

i prefer the KPZ-70 over the 1A5 for most maps cause its a better brawler in my opinion 1A5 is more a ranged tank poor for CQC due to thin armor

I’ll agree Soviet Union tech tree does need some work around. It’s a mess. Obviously is not a exclusive case all nations have vehicles scattered around the tech tree with some with no logical reason to be placed at a certain place of the tech tree.

Miscellaneous text

IS-2 does have good post-penetration damage but not good penetration power for its cannon caliber combined with the reload rate, in my opinion when you have two points against one, is not exactly balanced. T-44 in other hand does have two points going for it and one negative, which despite being another hard vehicle to skill, is rather balanced to be honest, good frontal armor combined with good mobility makes this a decent brawler, though the cannon won’t deal any major damage against most common heavily armored vehicles at its own battle rating.

IS-3, IS-4M and IS-6 in my honest opinion are fine at battle rating (respectively) 7.3, battle rating 7.7 and battle rating 7.7, although, about IS-4M I don’t think it’s far unrealistic to be moved to battle rating 8.0 because it does have the smart armor layout of the IS-6 but it’s combined with brute force (thicker plates than any other soviet heavy tank in-game as far I’m concerned).

Although it shares the same old 122 mm cannon, which about the penetration values, I did a quick and dry search, I wanted to calculate some few things but the tools are in my personal computer, the mentioned 150 mm penetration is totally valid from the sources I’ve used (Krupp calculation for example) but it varies a lot, and even if it was that in-game, I wouldn’t want to face an IS-2 or worse at battle rating 5.7 or something around those lines.

Definetly T-72AV (Turms-T) got pushed way too high because of the general line-up at battle rating 10.3 Soviet Union has to offer at the moment, bad things happen to bad people, it’s a bad vehicle after all.

T-55A is a good vehicle not gonna lie to you, at battle rating 8.3, maybe a change soon enough, but it’s far from a game breaking vehicle, 3BM25 can be known for being one of the worst performing APDS-FS projectiles in-game for its caliber, M1000A1 can easily outperform, which is a reasoning of the T-55A battle rating difference to the T-55M despite it not having any new major armor improvement other than a better fire control system.

Take a look at the majority of mid-late Cold War chinese vehicles and tell me if it’s Russian bias, most of their sovietic counterparts are far miles inferior compared to vehicles like Type 59 to T-54 and so on, and if I remember correctly, those vehicles were never or overshadowed by others during proposed battle rating change feedbacks, with very few actually recieving a battle rating change.
