Russian Su-35s are equipped with R-77Ms, while Chinese Su-35s are equipped with R-77-1s. Chinese players requested the R-77M, citing technical feasibility, but the admin responded with “Not a bug.” Subsequently, a minor update significantly increased the flight drag of the R-77-1 and restored its grid fins. Dataminers discovered that the R-77M inexplicably had over a dozen extra kilograms of propellant. When players tried to submit an issue, the admin again responded with “Not a bug,” refusing to acknowledge the datamined findings.

(But also, technical compatibility isn’t always 100%, there are many aircraft that are capable of carrying some weapons but don’t have said weapons now. It might just be R-77-1 for Chinese Su-35 and J-16/15/10C has China’s PL-15)
It’s the only Russian aircraft to have the next gen ARH missile. It’s not available on the Su-30SM2 (though, and I really hope I’m wrong, but gaijin might take liberties here)
