[ Poll ] Should India stay in UK tech tree?

that goes for every tree and potential tree. however if India is a British subtree we arent ever going to see the unique stuff as gaijin hates britain.

I do think in all honesty India shouldn’t ever be a subtree, but one of the nations either put into a BRICs tree or split into where the vehicle has its origins, and if its a completely homogenous design it should go to the nation which aided in its creation, IE arjun to Germany as the leopard designer was a main consultant or the german MTU engine

Well, I prefer that we keep India as a subtree rather than losing it, ‘unless we get another subtree as compensation’
(which is not gonna happen, and we are just going to be losing India alone because Gaijin hates us. if it happens.)

But I totally agree with you that all we will get will be nothing but lame exact Russian C&P even without any domestic weaponry. Su-7BMK, T-72, MiG-23BN will be example

Because Gaijin hates the Commonwealth and the British.

No unique vehicles will ever come.
Even the chance of getting ‘C&P, but with different weaponry’ will be low
(SHAR FRS.51 or Su-30MKI, which is armed with different missiles can be example)

Hardly unique if it offers little to no functional difference

And I wouldn’t be surprised if the modified vehicles had an extra MG or log strapped to them

eeeh
when you have to stuff your user tree with 3 Vijyanta, several (slightly) modified BMP clones, 5 versions of Arjun just to declare yourself more unique than the existing Chinese tree

idk
you could create a more unique tree than that with the Type 69/79 family alone

It’s not so much a sub tree as much as using UK as a dumping ground

idc either way
just commit
either let me larp as USSR or use Commonwealth vehicles, not both

this is the main reason I’m not a fan of India in the brit tree, its all either just C&P from other trees or preexisting vehicles in the British tree or a pretty boring unique design which will have a million variants to clog up research time

agreed.

If I wanted to play crappy communist built vehicles id play the communist nations. I play britain for BRITISH and British style tanks not russian copy paste slop

I play India so I can get high and listen to Ravi Shankar

But India doesn’t have a lot of Copy/Paste

I never said you did

Fine, it’s more comparable to Italy happy now?

Why use it as an argument, then? It’s a non sequitur

Why isreal tech tree might receive Su-30MKI, MiG-21Bison, Mirage 2000H, Mirage 2000i, Sea Harrier FRS.51 (+LUSH), MiG-27UPG, Jaguar IS (DARIN II), Vijayanta, Bhishma TWMP, MiG-29K (9-41), AH-64E, MiG-29UPG, Tejas and etc ?

Israel tech tree might get F-39E/F Gripen (FAB), Northrop F-5 (FAB & FACH), F-16 (FACH), AMX A-1 (FAB), Mirage (FAB & FACH), Leopard (Chilean Army), IAI Kfir (FAC) and

In my opinion, it’s difficult gaijin transfer 2 researchable vehicles (Osa-AK & Strela-10M) and 4 premium vehicles (Bhishma TWMP (squadron), Vijayanta, Jaguar IS (event) & MiG-21 Bison) from great britain to independent Indian tech tree in 2 years

No way should India get its own tree. we don’t need any more tech trees we have far too many as it is.

then in the current mess, how should stuff like arjun, namica, abhay, bmp OFB, marut, tejas, su30mki and countless more come?

to be fair, italy didnt had its own tt iirc earlier, there were decent chunk of vehicles spreaded everywhere till it got its own tt

They should go into the tech tree of which ever nation developed the initial vehicle. Anything that is outside of that ect then goes into the UK tree. Failing that if its some minor subvariant then its not worth adding anyhow.

We don’t need copy and past tree’s for every nation on the planet…

You dont think the peoples democratic republic of workers of talistan, which operated grand total of 4 tanks during the entiriety of its existence, should have its own tech tree? Are you some bigot?

this would cause really vague additions, and again would kinda diminish the variation
