[Poll] Finnish F-18C to be updated to MLU 1

As it stands right now the Finnish F-18C is the same BR as the US model which has HMD which is fairly useful for selecting targets in a pinch. My suggestion is to give the F-18C the MLU 1 upgrades for HMD and IFF (if necessary skip IFF, the vehicle isnt even historically accurate anyways so why be bothered now) this would give Finland a decent and on par option to the US F/A-18/C Late on the US which also has access to A2G. Removing HMD and keeping the Finnish Hornet at 14.0 makes little sense and it would be better to simply change it to the MLU 1.

  • Yes change the current F-18C to the MLU 1 standard to have it match the current US F-18 but with the only benefit being IFF. (Skipping aim 9X since the game doesn’t need that right now)
  • No leave the Finnish F-18C as pre MLU 1 without HMD and IFF and lower its BR to 13.7 otherwise comment below your thoughts if you dont agree with the BR change.

Radar IFF iirc, i domt have the exact specs for the IFF changes brought with MLU 1

Don’t believe so, though i wouldn’t be entirely suprised if it wasn’t a feature with the version used by the Finnish when sold for export.

I don’t think that would be changed. If you, or anyone who is reading this has dev server can you check both US and Finnish 14.0 hornets?

Wait base export F-18 has no iff in the 1st place or MLU 1 just upgraded it to a better IFF sensors?

Agree, but i think theres could be option to put finnish one to 13.7 and leave american one at 14.0(give AIM-120C-5)

HMD is cruical for top tier, adding Finish Hornet without HMD is basically making even less potent than already is.

Yeah, the OCU got a HMD it never had, whereas Finland are being denied a HMD they did use

Schindibee trying his hardest to argue that the Finnish players are being greedy because we got a hornet while talking about a swiss hornet…hm kinda like the EFT is a better 14.0, all i want is a F-18 that isnt gimped thats forced to play at 14.0

Iirc the HMS wasn’t a thing used IRL but added by gaijin to help buff it. It definitely shouldn’t be 13.7 because it actually sucks not having HMD to use while defending.

13.7 would be perfect, 14.0 is too high, 13.3 seems too low.

Honestly, why even bother adding it instead of just waiting for the more advanced variant they say will come? This adds very little to the tree, except for another 400k rp to get, for the great reward of competing at disadvantage.
