The premise of this absurd request is that: Since Poland is a significant member of NATO, it should be represented with an F-16 in the German tech tree".
I didn’t write this nonsense.
Unfortunately, the game has taken a completely negative turn in recent years. Under the guise of playability and balance, significant changes have been made to the fundamentals of the game, even incorporating what-if scenarios and making entirely nonsensical connections. While this could be somewhat acceptable, the problem is that they persist with double standards, favoring certain nations and penalizing others. It would be much better to return to the older, stricter standards because all this balancing leads to bizarre demands.
I understand the objective need for Germany to have a decent or perceived-to-be decent aircraft at top tier, which is also a legitimate aspiration, but it should not be achieved through forced measures as it only fuels this spiral (like the Japanese F-16 syndrome or those asking for a what-if scenario with the Japanese F-14 instead of the F-15). Certain nations made choices based on standardization, budget, or needs, which is completely legitimate. Instead of yet another forced measure, it would have been much better to introduce an early Eurofighter for Germany, Italy, and the UK (only with AIM-120 and AIM-9, no IRIS-T) or a limited-weapon F-2 for Japan rather than a non-existent aircraft.
These are just recent cases, but the history is long. Instead, this trend has been adopted where everyone must have an F-16, everyone must have a Sherman, everyone must have a MiG, etc., etc. Other paths could have been chosen.
last, you’re just complaining (or coping hard) because you don’t have an F-16 or a Gripen in the German tree, and so you’re looking enviously at what your neighbors have, This attitude is not constructive; it only creates resentment. You can’t always complain and cry about things. since years, Germany equals whining. It doesn’t make a good impression.
