For most encounters a 10.3 like the 2a4 has no real dealbreakers that would stop it from going to town. Having to aim for weakspots isn’t a dealbreaker. That just means you need to learn the vehicles you face

That statement is incredibly dishonest itself.
You constantly/always have to aim for weak spots with DM23. The entire point of DM23 and its god awful penetration/spalling is knowing what tank and where to shoot it.
Otherwise you’re dead because you cannot survive most shots at that BR even hull down and pitting uptiered tanks against it is beyond moronic.

I also checked out your player stats ingame and you have 0 games or experience with the A4 your highest rank is 6.7-Tiger 2, I dont know why you are making any arguments about this.
The 2A4 is way better than youd think
If the 2A4 were to get Dm33 it would have to get an uptier to 10.7
Now if you were to say Ariete (P) to counter this then well The Ariete has worse sights speed mobility in general Armour
Also the first abrams is 10.3 with M774 that sometimes fails to pen the Leo 2A4 hull

M1 Abrams 105mm, M774 only has 375mm of pen and can pen the A4 left side where the optics (and gunner and commander) are located. And vise versa for A4 penning the M1.
Ariete Ps can drive 45 mph, its highly mobile and its DM33 also has 481mms of pen, which means nothing on the A4 can stop that APFSDS. Aced crew for this reload rate is 6.0 seconds on par with Leopard 2A4 aced crew.
I am not asking for the A4 to have DM33 or even 43, simply asking for TPX (P), Type 90-90Bs to not be downtiered to 10.3 for any match.

yeah but with the 2A4 you can atleast tank some shots the ariete cant stop anything above Dm13 120 or late 105mm apfsds
The A4 can only tank shots from range really. The closer the scenario the less likely you’ll tank it. The Ariete P can tank a lot of shots even DM23 if its hull down and shooting “down” at an enemy utilizing the guns depression. Other than that yea its in the same boat as the A4.
Yeah but Dm33 against 11.7 also isnt very great i could see the Tkx(p) going up eventually when ground gets a br ceiling increase but the type 90s arent the most efficient when uptiered

With a 4 second reload for 481mm of pen it belongs at a higher tier.
Imagine an Ariete P with a 4 second reload and Turret cheeks that lower BRs struggle to pen.
It’d be a nightmare too.
Why? TURMS and other Russian tanks running around with 3BM42 at lower BR that equivalent of DM33 what wrong when 2A4 have them and sit at same BR?

Honestly I’m fine with DM23 as goofy as it behaves a lot of the time. It’s just plainly outclassed by something that shoots faster and pens more armor.
Gun and Armor is not the only BR factor you know

I’ve never had a full downtier to 9.0 in a 10.3 vehicle. It has never happened to me ever, not even once.
I have however, faced 9.3 vehicles when people use them as backups, like Wolfpacks that use M900 with 522mm of pen and its 50/50, but they can punch through most things above its BR.
at 10.3 theres a worse enemy thats challenger mk3, basically a type 90 with slow aceleration
