Please nerf fighter bombing rewards

please for the love of God do it. it is almost impossible to grind bombers such as the F111, and F105 because of all the people stealing bases with Napalm. (ahem harriers and Mig 21’s). my suggestion is to just nerf it that its not really worth doing A2G in a fighter, this way it encourages fighter players to actually do A2A combat, instead of stealing bomber bases, while also slightly buffing bomber bonuses/rewards

F-111F is the 2nd fastest aircraft in the game.
F-111A with 1 base of napalm is faster than Mig-21s.

There’s no such thing as stealing bases.

Rewards should remain parity, & nerfs should be avoided.

…that’s an attacker.

If you really want to grind attackers, try Sim. Annoying probably that I say so yet again, but, well, that’s how I see it.

don’t have the 111F yet

IF you have the engines mod, I have never outran a Mig 21 that’s gunning for a base, what’s next I can outrun a F84 in my B57?

I already do Sim for the A10, otherwise I don’t really play Sim cuz of the rewards, I had a buddy once using the 111A he died 2 times and got 2 bases, he was in the hole 75K SL

Sounds more like a knowledge issue on your part (not understanding how the Useful Actions reward system works and how to work it out)

damn I forgot about that bit

Old gamemode issue

There’s no stealing.

No.

All planes work under equal rules

Forces. In a toxic way.

so someone taking a base that’s already been pinged multiple times isn’t stealing? got it

Are you remembering to manually set the wing sweep?
Specifically to 75%.
Auto wing sweep will force it to 100% which causes more drag.

A better solution would be to remove napalm from most fighters to allow for attackers to actually earn rewards.

However it would also be good if gaijin lowered the base respawn time so fighters can’t outrun attackers and take their bases.

you have harriers getting to bases?

they are fighter bombers but yea rewards need a retune

Well, it’s not the easiest aircraft to fly and fight with, and I for sure would not recommend it for a beginner in Sim EC.

Getting killed twice in a new aircraft and an new game mode is not unusual, and already giving up then I consider quite premature. Even with more experience, one has again and again learn to fly and fight with new types, new weapons, new tech. But dying twice with only two bases killed for me hints at some grave errors in how this aircraft should be used.

Admittedly haven’t flown the 111A a lot: When it came out, it didn’t have a working CCRP indicator yet in sim, and later when that was fixed I flew the 111C and more rarely the 111F, but not too often. I think they’re good base bombers in Sim, if flown right, especially with the Pave Tack for accurate bombing with CCRP, and the GBU-15’s for tank plinking. But you have to be mindful what you do.

What I mean, in short: don’t give up on that game mode because of some bad experiences. It needs work to get it to work, but then it’s rewarding. = )

Pinging the base doesn’t mean you own it, it just tells others you intend to attack it. Should they disengage because of the ping even when they’re much closer?

What I always do and really encourage everyone to do the same way, is to ping the base and then send “Follow me!”, so the other players know what I want to do and where I am.

If they then ping the base as well and mark their position as closer, well, I know I don’t need to go for that target as well, and chose another one. No need to be upset just because the other guy is doing his job and is in a better position to do so.

Pinging bases means nothing lol. 99 percent of people ignore it. Unfortunately with the current gamemode bombers are just useless weight when trying to win a battle.

Same goes for strike fighters. Ever flown Tornado’s? cough cough.
There’s no such thing as stealing. They just don’t want to understand that at the current state not only you have to survive enemy fighters. but you have to compete with friendlies too. When it comes to jets you cannot talk about fighters anymore because for the most they’re multirole aircraft. Nerfing or buffing here and there doesn’t fix things

Ah yes, lets not nerf rewards for someone who is taking a whole spot using a fighter BEING SCARED TO FIGHT

yes

interesting, I did not know that, figured itd be better to have it at 100% I’ll keep that in mind

yeah he was getting intercepted a bunch so we switched our deal with bases and I let him come over to my side and share bases

What altitude was he flying at?

on the deck, we were constantly getting intercepted by Mig 23s, and with the fact that they Have IR tracking they just need to lock you and your dead, you get no pings from IR pings with the 23, meaning if you even get pinged 1 time you better start chaffing and flaring. and its not his fault he wasn’t new to the plane he was just stock grinding it
