Bomber AI gunners used to be as bad as Naval AI gunners until enough complaints flooded that the 1mm round on their BR 2 propeller plane couldn’t kill the super fortress so they nerfed bombers to the ground (they were actually OP) and now they’re making bombers more solid with preventing the fighters sandwich falling out the cockpit from blasting through the bomber ripping it in half.
@Torotif82 my best advice is don’t play SPAA or even have it in your lineup just completely and utterly destroy the enemy they don’t have enough SP to spawn CAS.
Saying ‘No’ to this is just stupid, because they’re not saying you can’t play CAS in Ground RB, they’re saying they want a separate mode where CAS isn’t present.
Nobody is taking away your OP toys, you can enjoy your OP toys as you always do in Ground RB, just don’t force it onto others.
Ground RB is a game mode that’s dominated by Air, and that’s stupid. There’s also ZERO counterplay between CAS and Ground, if you’re in a tank and a enemy player decides to revenge suicide bomb you, there’s literally nothing you can do about it.
There isn’t even any skill involved either, you get killed by some terrible player because they pointed their aircraft at you and pressed Spacebar once.

I could have sworn it was you. I was either playing my Russian 12.0 lineup or my Chinese 12.3 lineup at the time. I can’t remember which.
I’m all for more game modes personally.
I can check replays where you and I are in it but if it was Chinese or Russian then more than like yes. Unless you had the abrams only other tank that can kill the abrams
Most CAS players in GRB aren’t that good. Spawn a fighter and they usually choke real fast. 3v1s become cakes walks.
Almost as stupid as:
Saying there is no skill involved in playing planes is delusional.
But getting killed by a terrible player which pointed their turret at you and clicked left mouse button once is pinnacle skill.

I said suicide revenge CAS involves no skill, and that’s a fact.
I did not say planes as a whole require no skill.
If you don’t see the difference in counterplay between a tank-on-tank fight and a CAS-on-tank ‘fight’, you might need to visit an ophthalmologist.
If I’m the better tank player, I can rack up a decent number of kills against lower skilled opponents. But those opponents still have a lot of tools to have counterplay.
If one of the lower skilled opponents decides to suicide revenge CAS you, there’s nothing you can do regardless of skill levels involved.

+1. I think CAS is fine in ground battles as a concept however a considerable amount of CAS is done by people that should be playing air RB.
Tank enjoyers need some peace from the BT5 base rusher who insta-spawns a yak 9k

I’d like you to seriously think about why you can’t spawn tanks in ARB.
Combined arms would still be there if you want the “challenge”. No one is suggesting it be removed.

I like it when ground-only players suffer from restrictions they place on themselves in a game where you can use both types of vehicles
Also, I see the main complaint here is that when you and your team are losing and getting spawncamped by ground vehicles, you just get killed by planes too
