so “because bombers suffered for years, now its turn for the fighters to suffer, not because it is historically accurate but because i must fulfill my ego as a spacebar main and should have something to blame on my life issues”
Because the fighter players’ endless crying made them suffer needlessly, yes. Fighter mains being pushed into intentional irrelevance is exactly what they damn well deserve.
Believe what you want. But know that you are exactly the type of player who has rotten Air RB into its current state.
This looks neat but also creates a potential for a softlock where fighters kill the whole enemy team but can’t bomb/ground pound (if best 2 of 3 is mandatory, and only 1 objective with time out isn’t considered a win. If timeout wins are possible, then we’re just back to the current PvP meta).
What if we just make it so an entire team dying does not end the battle with ticket bleed? This will cause the impact of PvE to be much more important for winning. If fighters fail to protect their strikers/bombers/ground, kill the entire enemy team, but have less tickets? The fighters lose.
Fighters that do not want to participate in the PvE stage after the entire enemy team dies will be allowed to leave the battle midair without penalty, or allowed to help with ground strike (=happy grinder players).
