Yes, this mode should come as a permanent addition to the game, with more nation to play in it, , though there should me more tweaking in the SAM department, aka the OSA, ROland, shouldn’t quickly turn off their radar and being able to fire in a quick succession. In higher battle rating aka 13.3-14.7 the maps should become even larger 350kmx 350km, with air refuelers and AWACS air crafts.

The S-300P, Buk, Hawk, and Patriot systems should be positioned further away from the front lines, allowing both sides’ heavy fighters to engage in BVR within their respective airspaces.
would the ECM/EW and anti-rad elements stay, and with more countries added not many have anti-rad from my knowledge, so how would that be implemented, and would the strat bombers stay? because again only a few majors had them world wide
I think the ARM is here to stay. If anything for any air GRB 12+ as they have to deal with 12.7 AA
But that would make sense and gaijin doesn’t make sense.
I love the mini nukes and the chaos.

I would also like the HAWK as a lower-tier multi-vehicle SAM for countries like the US and Israel. In Israel’s case, it fills a necessary gap between 9.7 and 12.7.
This mode honestly severely dissapointed me as an April fools event. Normally Gaijin does something way wilder and more creative or out of the box, combined with the fact that I don’t know how modern jets and their systems work with no in-game tutorials made it kinda painful for me.
However, if this mode becomes permanent/becomes the new ARB mode I might actually start consistently playing aircraft. The boring and uninspired gameplay of ARB has been the biggest thing keeping me away from aircraft, so being able to play this whenever would be a huge improvements.
Please Gaijin, you have something great and you’ve done almost all the work already, make some minor adjustments and make it a permanent gamemode, literally everyone would win.

Tbh, tbe only trouble insane gun SPAA in Sim is SIDAM and Gepards. Stuff like the Wirbles havent been crazy OP in a while against jets and NATO. Most WW2 era or early post WW2 stuff dont have the turret traverse speeds to properly track jet aircraft.
I believe this “Nuclear Thunder” mode offers a stronger sense of teamwork than the air combat mode. It is truly the most interesting game mode in recent years and represents my ideal vision for War Thunder’s air combat. In this mode, fighters are responsible for intercepting enemy attackers or engaging in dogfights with enemy fighters, drawing their fire to cover friendly attackers and nuclear bombers as they strike critical ground targets such as air defense positions and forward airfields. Meanwhile, the ground-based AI air defense is no longer a useless NPC—it is fully capable of shooting down careless players. This forces attack aircraft pilots to exercise the same caution as they would against human opponents. Fighter and attack aircraft players must coordinate, with fighters escorting attackers to destroy high-value enemy units. Interceptor players can also choose to patrol above the main base to intercept enemy strategic bombers. Everyone has a role to play, working together to achieve victory.

But yeah game mode should stay, I’d even love if the nukes stayed but understand it’d be hard to balance
